Depends upon how you maintain and ride the bike.The RTR has better build quality so I would recommend the RTR over the ageing Pulsar 180.

I dont get it, if you have heard so then why consider it? Buy the tvs.

ok any genuine pulsar 180 owner can tell how the bike behaves after 4 years?i owned a tvs apache it was good bike and powerful with very few maintenance,only issue was the gear shift,apache is the ebst bike to ride in traffic conditions

A p180 is heavier than the apache so you may not feel at home from the get go. I have ridden the first gen pulsar 180 for close to 11 years and have been riding the 220 for 7 years now. No distinct problems. The old pulsar survived close to 100 crashes because it was my true first bike. The 220 has fallen twice (both times being ridden by friends). No rattles or vibes yet. The same gen apache 180 or 160s develop enough issues to negate a decision.

The apache 200 may be a better choice for you, however it is yet to come so there is no way of telling how it would be after 2-4 years. The pulsar 180 is like a big commuter now considering the power to weight ratio. It makes more sense to go for the apache 200 or the as200 if you can strech the budget.

Go by your heart.. Don't go by what others say.. We can't comment on how the Apache RTR 200 4V as it isn't on the roads yet..

Rather than pointlessly asking questions and arguing over which is best, I'd request the concerned member to read through the ownership logs in the forum and decide what is best for him. Do a little bit of homework from your end, this isn't an ATM machine where you command and it responds!
