Re: Options:- (TVS Apache RTR 200 4 V 2016) Carb or not to Carb?
I might be going for the carb version since I'm not planing to wait for the EFI version to hit the market due to some reasons it will take at least 4 months for EFI with abs to come so might as well go for carb without abs since I don't have a huge abs requirements and I won't be racing it on tracks just the normal boost on everyday riding works wonders so still in thinking mode.Originally posted by TVSian View Post"Biking: the Under-Rated and Drug-Free Antidepressant"

All the very best for your purchase. If I am getting one,I'm getting it next year January as I turn 18 and it will be my first bike.Originally posted by shadcool786 View PostI might be going for the carb version since I'm not planing to wait for the EFI version to hit the market due to some reasons it will take at least 4 months for EFI with abs to come so might as well go for carb without abs since I don't have a huge abs requirements and I won't be racing it on tracks just the normal boost on everyday riding works wonders so still in thinking mode.
Not sure and a bit worried that if I want to learn riding on a brand new bike,As in learning,I might cause damage or stress to the Clutch and Engine

Buy a used Apache 180 or 160 as your learning curve and a old one which comes for cheap so that you can use it to learn the bike, I used to drive a 220F for 5 years then took a test drive of the Apache 180 with abs and I was really surprised of the racing throttle response that the Rtr had so even if I get the 200 I need to make sure to keep the acceleration in check cause I nearly did a wheelie with the rtr thinking it works like a 220 P but it doesn't.Originally posted by TVSian View PostAll the very best for your purchase. If I am getting one,I'm getting it next year January as I turn 18 and it will be my first bike.

There is a running Max 100R near our house,Which the owner accepted to lend it to me for learning as he isn't using it anymore. So,I probably will learn on that.Originally posted by shadcool786 View PostBuy a used Apache 180 or 160 as your learning curve and a old one which comes for cheap so that you can use it to learn the bike, I used to drive a 220F for 5 years then took a test drive of the Apache 180 with abs and I was really surprised of the racing throttle response that the Rtr had so even if I get the 200 I need to make sure to keep the acceleration in check cause I nearly did a wheelie with the rtr thinking it works like a 220 P but it doesn't.[My Motorcycle]

Still a while away but I think it should launch side by side or after few months of the normal version launch.Originally posted by roamer View PostAny idea about the ABS version launch?"Biking: the Under-Rated and Drug-Free Antidepressant"

If you are put up in Bangalore, 100 bikes would have reached the main dealers. 25 to each. Contact solar tvs for carb variant.Originally posted by Tushar Biswas View PostAnyone got their deliveries for the bike?? And any info on the FI version anyone???

Re: Options:- (TVS Apache RTR 200 4 V 2016) Carb or not to Carb?
I am from Bangalore and I'm waiting for FI-ABS version.
I have enquired in 3 showrooms.
Two showrooms tell that a total of 150 vehicles have been delivered and the company is waiting for their feedback. Based on the feedback they'll do necessary changes and start production and deliveries.
And all three showrooms say that waiting period for carb is 3 months.
There's absolutely zero information on launch date of Fi and abs.
I got a test ride in Bharat TVS Jayanagar.

Hello XBHPians, I guess I'm late to the party. So anyone got the FI version of RTR 200?? I'm also looking forward to buy FI version.

I hate to mention it, but the last FI system on RTR failed drastically.
So what about this one?? Anyone got some news??
