Re: Gixxer or Gixxer SF ?
I have driven Gixxer and it simply blew my mind. Other than Gixxer, I have no interest in other 150cc bikes especially Honda ones. Just that now I'm little bit confused between Apache 200 and Gixxer.Originally posted by RoyalIndian View PostLast edited by ArunKumar89; 03-01-2016, 01:04 AM.

Test ride the Hornet. It has more power, way better brakes esp. CBS variant, better Top end and looks bigger than the Gixxer.Originally posted by ArunKumar89 View PostI have driven Gixxer and it simply blew my mind. If you're considering the Apache, then also consider the Pulsar AS200.

I find that statement very odd. If you dint have an interest in the RTR160 how did you suddenly grow an interest in the RTR200 when its not even in the showrooms yet?Originally posted by ArunKumar89 View PostI have driven Gixxer and it simply blew my mind. Re: Gixxer or Gixxer SF ?
RTR 160 is a very outdated product which has issues like vibration. So I was not interested in existing RTR 160. I suddenly got an interest in Apache RTR 200 for two reasons: for its rave reviews it is getting from people, and its relatively less premium (around 10k) I have to pay than my current choice which is Gixxer.Originally posted by RoyalIndian View PostI find that statement very odd. Though both of my current choices Gixxer naked with rear disc and Apache 200R base version are not yet in the market, Apache will be on sale in some 2 weeks whereas there is no word on the Gixxer rear disc variant. So the confusion between the two.

Re: Gixxer or Gixxer SF ?
Gixxer is super refined bike, i personally like the SF for styling , it is just an eye candy where plain gixxer is also good looking bike.Originally posted by ArunKumar89 View PostHi Moto Enthusiasts,
I'm planning to buy my first bike and I'm confused between Gixxer and Gixxer SF. I rode both the bikes. I'm very comfortable with Gixxer except I'm confused whether I can make occasional long rides (200 - 250 kms). This is where I feel whether I should buy Gixxer SF. On the other hand, though I like Gixxer SF since mostly I will be commuting in the city I'm thinking Gixxer SF will be an overkill. I also have little problem with their Mirrors which I do not that comfortable.
My only query is will I able to make an occasional tour on naked Gixxer.
Thanks for your Patience . . . .
for 200-300 ride plain gixxer would be fine as suzuki has better refinement level and even carb version are made with great engineering that it keep engine cool.
But if you like more punch and decent brake you should wait for SF fuel injected version with rear disk brake
