Get a BUSA eyes closed, there are tons of mods to set you up for the height and weight issue . Ignore the childish statements in the above posts by some of the pros about busa .
    SPEED .....i need more
I cannot do burnouts :(..my bike has traction control...

      DONT go for a BUSA
there is no point especially in india.
thought i would suggest to get a nice 600cc that option is not available.
get urself a honda cbr as its one that can be servied more places plus easier availability
      of spares.
dont buy the busa ull get frustrated with traffic trust me!!!!
i drive a zx10r in the middle east with wide open roads and even this seems overpowered

^^^Well any 600 cc+ bike will be a headache in traffic!
n BUSA, take it eyes closed... if speed is your choice of Adrenaline!
BUSA is a bike worth respecting, for its sheer speed, power n the monster it hides inside!
n believe me BUSA isnt any impractical bike. I had seen my friend doing corners @ 150 kmph on a BUSA! Its just how well you ride, it isnt the ride. Anyone game?

If you ask me then R1 - 09

          HI,

As for Hayabusa, it still is the fastest production SuperBike in the world for the past 10 years now I guess. The biggest advantage of hayabusa is its drivrability. Any Gear any speed just give more throttle and the bike will pull with authority. Gem of an engine. But it is so huge. I dont like the looks.

Fireblade is supposed to be the best superbike for streets for its excellent midrange and it is a teriffic handler. Stunning looks plus features also in 09 model like ABS and traction control. Easiest Superbike to ride fast.

Suzuki GSXR1000 - 08 was ranked the best litre class (1000cc) Superbike by all. Very good in all dimensions.

Now the R1 - 09. I just checked out a video on the net by MCN (Motorcycle News) magazine and they voted for R1 - 09.

The Link: Video: 2009 Yamaha R1 vs Honda Fireblade - Motorcycle News

Mechanically I guess there is no Superbike like the R1 2009. As for looks R1 has been the best looking SBK since long. Looks is totally personal preference.
Also If you love bikes you will want you SBK to be a bit tempramental so that you will have to pamper it and respect it to get the best out of it. If you are this types then I Guess R1 is the bike for you.

I dont have one but have read and dreamt about them a lot.

          For me its R1 - 09.

Your height will not make much of a difference as to how you look on the bike. I think. Not sure though

Availability of R1 2009 can be an issue though.

I have heard all the 2008 model bikes are sold.
And the new model is going to come to INdia in some time.

If you finally decide in favour of R1 just check the availability also

            Good Luck.

ALL three bikes are TERRIFIC bikes. They are all MIGHTY fast and you will NEVER use them anywhere near full power anywhere in the world in full traffic or in the city. Busa may well be one of the fastest bike in the world but that does not really mean much in basic practical terms. And talking about leaning at 150km/h, I doubt if we will ever do it with ANY bike in city riding! (Or any other riding in our country)

The basic differences are as follows:

The Blade and the R1 are aggressive bikes, aggressive in sitting and posture and ergonomics, the R1 is a bit less (according to me).

The Busa is much less aggressive and is a far more comfortable ride, from what I have ridden. And it is surprisingly agile contrary to what most people believe.

The Busa heats a bit more than the other two. If you plan on touring long distance a lot, I would suggest you go for the Busa coz it is less fatiguing. You want the real Aggro feel and look and ride, then you go for either of the other two, for weekend fast aggressive rides.
The Wheel was a great invention; Two Wheels with a Motor in between was even better!

I believe the main concern you have is how the bike will look in proportion to your build. With that requirement I'll explain a couple of things as I feel it.

Most of the 1000ccs are built on a very compact scale now a days. The 'Busa with 1485mm wheelbase and relaxed positioning is definitely bigger than the R1 (1415mm wheelbase) and Fireblade (1400mm). But having said that, I feel the bent knee and tucked in style of superbike riding is pretty apt at looking proportional to the rider. But taller bikers make almost every sportbike look tiny !!!!
There is no way any of these bikes can be utilised anywhere close to their max in any city. Also the riding position is kind of uncomfortable in cities and on longer stretches.
So the best bet is to sit on the bikes () and check your comfort quotient !!

AS an aside though, if proportionality is your concern why dont you look at the Intruder or B-king, MT-01 set.

Especially the Intruder is Huuuugeee !!!! And more apt to city riding from engine ease point of view.

                Hope that helps.
Kawasaki Ninja : Because lazy sunday afternoons should be despatched at 160 kmph!!!
Hyosung Aquila : Because sometimes you need to look cool while riding at 40 kmph and you can do that only on a cruiser !!!

lot of suggestion i got now.......thank for em allguys... very much...

now lemme decide into r1 n busa...i read a review on busa on xbhp..the rider was w8ing for busa on r1...n when it came ...the r1 was like an apology.....i dont wanna apologise..lol...though the bike wud be taken only once in lifetime no way to go for 600cc bike n later regreat....maybe i wud go for busa....i like its looks...but yes maybe its power seem impractical in small cities with uneven roads.......

as well sukant suggested for intruder or cruiser bikes...i dont like em...as well can i avail 2008 r1...i dont like r1 2009 modell.. ..i dunno why...as well he also suggested to feel em or test ride em ...well bro theres no showroom here having busa or r1...so decision have to be made directly...n even the place where it wud be imported is 420km long from my place...

once again thnks for ur comments..... bit confused in r1 n busa...

Also whts ab firing... r1 n busa got same...or busa got louder...i wud expect aggresive firing...

                        Buddy,

Every SBK has an even firing order.
The R1 - 09 is the first road bike to have uneven firing order. Straight from Moto GP.
Its exhaust note is also different to any other inline four.

And You can always go for custom exhausts!!

It sounds funny, but do you really intend to use it for city commuting? An SBK?
Anyways, Busa is a sport-tourer, extremely silent even at high speeds, has a slightly higher handle& you can even make a pillion sit comfortably(don't accelarate too much, she would fly away though). Styling will also not be as aggressive as a supersport model (Busa is hyper sport category)
R1 would give you the scream&aggressive sport look&styling, not to mention speed bursts! And I have heard from R1 owners that it is very traffic friendly too.
But do you really intend to use the forthcoming bike for commuting?

Well KEN bro, I cant even think of riding it just in city traffic only!... &about leaning at 150km/h, I just said it coz am a cornering junkie & I cant think of anything to do with an SBK, apart from taking it to some lonesome Ghat (like Amby or Lavasa) & ripping n leaning it to my best... or ripping it on some NH like on GQ...

Hope you dont get me wrong,

Hey dude you already have too many guru's giving you the right advice.
Just one question that popped my mind, are you just planning to buying a sbk that is readily available in India beacuse if budget is not a constraint why not a kwacker zx-14.
