Re: Need Advice for Buying my first Scooty

Go for Jupiter. It's a superb allrounder with large wheelbase.
Another good option is Honda Aviator. A little less talked about but is a potent commuter with 8 bhp of power. One of my colleagues has it and is happy after 24K km.s.

      Thanks DADA,
Hope you don't mind calling you dada.

Thanks for the suggestion. I saw some video of jupiter there they showed that the seat and the external fuel filler cap can be opened without a key in jupiter.
I am unable to check it as there is no jupiter is available among my friends or relatives. Also i can't find the video again in youtube But if it is true than it is a serious issue. Also i don't like the old age instrumental cluster. Honda aviator's instrument cluster is also somewhat like old age. Also there is no mobile charging point and the price of disc variant is high. But aviator have good low rpm touque than Maestro edge. Seat hight is also slightly higher in Aviator.

For the Above Negative Reasons (except the positive low end torque) i ruled out both the scootys.

But you Advised me so i will definitely rethink

      Thanks.

Bro i just watched a video but i am unable to check the same as i mentioned earlier that there is no jupiter among my friend circle or relatives.

There was a video on youtube about it. Basically the guy pulled some wires under the vehicle near the rear wheel to unlock the seat and fuel filler cap(without keys).

As soon as i get chance to do it i will share. Also if i find the video again on youtube i will share.

I certainly won't mind if you call me DADA!

Apart from these two, you can consider for Fascino which is having retro looks and a smooth engine.

This is some short cut found by some body and not it is a feature with Jupiter scooter. In my opinion all scooters need a key to open the seat as well as fuel cap.
Only Hero duet and Hero Maestro have it (seat cover open/fuel cap open feature) controlled by the ignition switch itself (no need to remove the key and then open another lock to unlock seat cover or fuel cap) and others have a separate key hole at the rear (left) side of the body cover.

No bro its not that video. that video is deleted now. I hardly tried but could not find that. But one interesting thing happens tomorrow night. When i was chatting with one of my friend (I shared that video with him) he said that he downloaded the video file because of his slow 2G internet he sometimes downloads them and then watch it later. If you can give your whatsapp no. via PM I can send that video to you. But the video will be of low quality(240p,3gp) because of his slow internet connection he downloaded the lower quality video.

Dont worry. But as far as I know Jupiter has a key hole on the left side (rear body) to open the seat and fuel cap. I have even checked TVS website but no mention about keyless feature for opening seat/fuel cap. !!

Its not about keyless feature I think you did not understand what i said earlier. There is some wire under the vehicle near the rear wheel which if you pull than you can open the seat or the fuelfiller cap without key. if it is true than anyone can open the seat and they can take out whatever it is in the underseat storage. Also there is possibilities of petrol theft. Anyway if you need the video you can always pm me with either your whatsapp no. or your email id(in case you are not comfortable to give whatsapp no.). i am trying to find a jupiter owner who can allow me to do the test ( as i mentioned earlier there is no jupiter owner in my friend circle or among my relatives so i am unable to check that it is a fake one or not).

                    Thanks

Re: Need Advice for Buying my first Scooty

                      Hi,

Last sunday i went again to Suzuki showroom to check the availability of spare parts, I asked couple of them and it seems like they were having all parts gave assurance to me on parts availability. I was satisfied with that and again took a look on All new access 125. It was not readily available with them and may take around 1-2 week time after booking.

After lot of thought process i decided to book it (blue color). As there is no other scooter which has fun factor like All new access 125.

                      Now waiting time begins.

                      THanks

Nice . I am very very excited to know your observations with the scooter. Please do a ownership review after getting that beauty.

In my area the suzuki showroom is 44 km away from my home, so i am confused what to do. Anyway your review will be helpfull for me.

                        Thank you very much brother.

I have driven only 30 km till now.. All i can say that this scooter is really fun to drive.. Better engine and no vibration like activa125. Smooth acceleration, spacious seat with lots of space under it.

And when you go in roads people notices this scooter as this looks totally different from others as roads are filled with activas.

Yesterday dealer sold arount 5-6 all new access in front of me.. When i asked him then he told me that stock came after 1 month and many people are waiting for this scooter.

I costed me 63666 rs on road in Gurgaon, including all accessories pack, extended warranty, zero dep insurance and registration.

WoW that is value for money bro. In my area the Honda Activa 125 (Drum) costs 67000+ with registration, insurence etc. But no Accessories included.

bro did you fit the mobile charging point? is it available?
