Re: Planning to buy my first bike

    Hello xBHPians!
    Age: 22years
    Height: 5'8"
    Weight: 72kgs
    Budget: 1 - 1.6 lacs

I have shortlisted the following bikes.

    1. Suzuki Gixxer SF FI (lack of 6th gear, and poor headlights)
    2. Honda CBR 150R (Limited switchgear functionality)
    3. Bajaj Pulsar RS200 (Lots of niggles here and there, vibrating panels)

I need an overall package with good aftersales service, reliable engines and decent maintenance cost. I have a special place for faired bikes so i am now all set to get one for myself!
As this will be the first time I'm buying a bike for myself, I'm utterly confused with all the options available in the market. Please suggest. Looking forward to all your valuable opinions!

    Thank you!

Short answer: Go for the cbr150r
I've seen your posts on the cbr150r thread, and i'd say rather than discussing specs on the internet you should get your butt down on the saddle and ride these bikes a few times and then take a decision.

I'm definitely gonna test ride the bikes. But the limited test ride would do no good in deciding a bike!
And IMO, cbr 150r seems to be my best bet!
