So Yes, I inquired about the windscreen and yes its doable.
But also got to know that the Street 220 with Tubeless tyres is not available.
They did have the fresh lot of Street 150s with Tubeless Tyres, but nothing about Street 220.
So what should I do now?

Also, Me and my wife were talking about the trip and my wife says I should get a ZMR.
Which raises the budget to 1.20 lakh on road.
    Will that be wise?
I trust a Hero product more for obvious reasons, So should I get a ZMR?

Well you are a genius sir..
Thanks for taking the time out to help a fella. And as far as the bike picking goes... I am so confused that I have decided to visit Hero Showroom as well and test ride the ZMR as well.

And I also have a query:
Is it possible that the Cruise will also get tubeless tyres?
(I know its kinda tricky being a spoke wheel bike), But is it possible?
Please let me know. thanks in advance.

Please suggeat a tall geared powerful bike for highways.

I need a bike for long ridea and I am scared with the short gearing on a bike. Also, I read that tall geared bike are perfect for long tours. Having a budget of near 1 lakh, can you please give me suggestions on that?

It should also have a decent ground cleaeance, as the Gixxer SF I own scrapes a lot.

Have a look at CB Hornet-160R. Another choice less than 1 Lakh price bracket.

I would have suggested the AS200 and Apache 200, but the Pulsar isn't being sold currently AFAIK.

                  Well, mine's for sale.

If you had taken a test ride than fairly easy to compare low gear riding in city and top gear riding in open stretch. If this serves the purpose than done.

Most of the time you will be using top gear for cruising along the highways.
1st gear and the top gear ratio almost remains the same, the alteration in tall and short is in between gear ratios made suitable for the riding purpose.
Modern bikes typically cruisers/roadsters will have short gearings and superbikes will have tall gearings. Short gears/torquey delivery at low gears ratios and peak performance at the top rev range should not be a problem for you to ride Avenger Street. So there is no harm if the bike is having torquey delivery which is good to achieve fuel economy at the same time traffic will be a breeze.
Tall gearings other hand is less torquey and more speed, perfect setup for Grand Prix circuit. But in traffic lights riding tall gears will bite you. You require torque to pull you, pillion, luggage if any (280 kgs + ) at ease in traffic & handling stop go situations.

Thank you all for answering all the queries I had in past. So, I took the advice and Test Rode a lot of bikes. And the confusion became more dense.
See, Before it was just 3 bikes... Street 220, RTR 200 & Karizma R. But then I rode all three and found they are poles apart in nature.
                      I found out that:
                      1. Street is amazing for tripping and touring and daily rides too, but I will miss the (little) leaning around the corners.
                      2. RTR 200 is fast and fun, but the wind blast gets annoying a lot.
                      3. Karizma R is perfect (plus Hero's reliability), but its not easily available. Also, few are suggesting to not take the bike as it is old (Technology wise)
                      4. While I was in Hero Showroom, I went by a Suzuki Showroom and decided to go in. I was greeted with Gixxer SF Sp and found it glamorous. It has almost everything I need, except the powerful engine. (Should I even consider this??)
                      5. While I was coming out of the Suzuki Showroom, a Yamaha dealer was also in sight So decided to get a quick look there as well. He offered Fazer Fi, which was kinda ticks all the boxes too...
So, overall..... Never go to all the showrooms at once...
(In my defence it was Saraswati Vihar, Every f***ing bike manufacture has a dealership there)

Please, Please, Please forgive me for being sooooooo confused and kindly take time to put in your opinion.
                      Thanks in advance.

If you're not going to tour at high speed or if you don't need torque to pull lots of luggage and pillion, then GIXXER SF or Fazer should Suffice. IMO, Gixxer SF with rear disc and FI is a good bet.

Avenger has poor handling around corners and pathetic braking. It's not a good bike from safety perspective. It needs the rider to be very skilled when it comes to braking and handling.
Riding around mountains and hills may feel good due to torque but handling the turns, potholes and corners along with bad stretch of roads will become a PITA.

Apparently, the engine isn't that powerful for a 220cc machine. Just a couple of more Bhps and few Nm of torque figures than a powerful 150/160cc bike.

Bro same thing happened with me , i visited multiple showroom on a single day ended up with confusion.
I would say don't read paper specs, ride the bike , i have done multiple test drive of many new machines, Honda guys was even fade off with me riding their hornet 160 4th times.
But believe me i wanted to have a bike which solve almost all the purpose.
I was looking for something below.

                          1. Suitable for long touring with low end torque which is very much required in hilly areas
                          2. Good looking bike
                          3. Low maintenance cost and less fiber body
                          4. Good dis-replacement at least 200cc
                          5. Enough power for Indian road at least 15bhp

I ended up my search finally on Avenger 220 street Green color variant.
it has good seating position, getting average of almost 37-38kmpl , no vibration
Last week i touched it 120kmph on Yamuna expressway with double loading and a heavy luggage.
You can comfortable do 80-100 whole day without any issue.

                          Cons :
1.Rear brake is not that much good you can't rely on this but you will learn applying both the brake, initiially i faced some problem but now i am used to it, while riding yamuna expressway i faced only one pathole which was almost 10-12" deep and i was running on 90+ i had to stop the bike , i applied both the brake sanly and it worked
2.Yes you can do cornering but not like sport bike, its after all a cruiser
3.Fuel gauge is not giving me correct figure

Conclusion : A very good bike and you must consider it now it is coming with tubeless tyre too so that a great improvement by bajaj.

He already has a Gixxer and imo it would not be prudent for him to buy another bike in the same league. The low end torque is poor and the vehicle struggles on inclines, riding with a pillion etc. It is more suitable for short runs on good tarmacs.

I guess you are referring to the new Karizma. If so, i suggest you stay away from the latest ugly iteration fraught with vibrations. Hero has certainly messed up what was once a fantastic vehicle. Looks as though Hero wants to pull the plugs on the Karizma, and it is a possibility that Hero may move away from Honda engines. It certainly does not seem a wise bet to me.

My advice...go for the AS 200 (may be slightly more than your budget), Street 220/Cruise 220, Pulsar 220. If none of them appeal to you, stick to the gixxer. It is a fantastic bike ( only issues would be the pillion seat and gc).

                            Rgds

P.S : In case you are OK with a second hand bike you can also try the CBR 250 with low mileage (other options like TB 350 etc come into picture too)

I was in a similar situation and got a used CBR 250R with ABS. Pretty happy with the purchase and covered ~ 5000 KM in 6 weeks!
                              Hope that helps.

                                Hello once again Motorheads,
Thank you all for such valuable comments. Your guidance really helped me a lot. I know I was such a confused lad about all this. but your recommendations helped me to decide on the bike after a lot of confusion and brainstorming. I took a lot of test drives and all bikes were brilliant. That is why the decision making was tough.
But finally went with Richardson's advice and got Street 220 Tubeless version, hell of a decision. Thank you.

                                Regards,
