But performance wise I hope RTR would be better (saw some youtube videos of "JTRipper"-channel name).

As others replied, it is true that service experience varies from dealer to dealer.Put your query regarding service experience in ownership threads, quoting your city name.
Riding height is not a major issue in these two bikes now. Since, i'm a student, the main issues for me are Mileage, After sales, availability of spares. Thanks for your suggestion. [emoji106]

since one of your main issues is mileage,i need to elaborate my test ride experience. The total distance to & from dealership is 6.5 kms. dealership sales person don't know i would ride 5 km. so the boy from dealership filled a can with 200 ml petrol only and sat with me as a pillion. On the way back to dealership, it stops midway 1 km before dealership as the fuel become empty. I waited for nearly 45 min. for the dealership person to come, since the boy doesn't accept me to put fuel.Even then nobody came,so i left the place by auto to reach dealership to pick my bike.Eventhough ownership threads would give you clear idea about fuel efficiency, my assumption is rtr 200 should give 28-32 km/litre. I know few gixxer sf users who has reported fuel efficiency of 50+ km/litre. Now that's a huge difference in fuel efficiency. Now ball is in your court.take a decision.

First, leave your computer monitor & go to your nearest suzuki dealership for a test ride. Before evening you would take a decision.

Thanks for such a detailed suggestion. And i would surely test drive both before buying either of them.

Yes about milege, RTR 200 used to give around 30-32kmpl, before 1st servicing. Then it increased to around 35 kmpl gradually. I had a friend's RTR for 1000 kms(from 600-1600 odo), when he was out of country. Gixxer will definitely Show more than 40 kmpl atleast. If milege is your priority, Gixxer should be your bike.

Re: Suzuki Gixxer SF or TVS Apache RTR 200 4V ?

RTR has more power so don't expect much mileage , i am getting around 30-35 after 3rd service.
Bike has some minor issues like after doing Carb tuning by svc also bike do not start without choke in the morning.
              No vibration
Weight balancing is not that good as bike feels heavy in right side
Tvs tyres are prone to skid even at light wet surface.
Overall its fun to ride RTR

SF is also a nice bike but lack in power, i would go for it if i don't care about FE because top end almost same as RTR.

Many congratulations mate! That's a good choice. Wishing you many happy miles and smiles with the Gixxy.

Also any reason for not buying the FI variant?

                  Cheers!

Thanks. Yeah, my pocket was the reason for not going for the FI Version. It costs more in terms of price and maintenance.
