. So it would be difficult for your mom to hold on, in such cases. Plus I am not even sure whether there are any grab rails for pillion riders in duke.

Re: Bike Around 1.5 Lakhs
Definitely like msuthar25 mentioned, ktm is very powerful. While shifting from N to 1, sometimes I have seen the pillion rider feeling a very high amount of inertia i.e If you do not shift smoothly the pillion may topple. I personally had got that feeling while my cousin was ridingOriginally posted by Gowtham Msd View Post

Re: Bike Around 1.5 Lakhs
Ok..I have now decided to remove the Pillion Comfort from my requirements...
So i have to decide between Duke 200 and Gixxer SF SP...
As i said earlier, Duke 200 stole my heart in the first attempt itself...
Today test drove Gixxer SF SP and liked that bike too...but i found it somewhat short for my height ( My height is 6 feet) .
And as i said in the previous posts, this will be my first bike..I am not that much good in riding bike. have been driving activa these much days with very rare bike rides.
I know Duke is not a good beginner bike. But i believe thay i can learn to manage it within some days.
The reason why i would choose Duke are,
1) Weightless
2) Styling
3) Brand Value. ( I live in a small town and believe me, i will be the first to own Duke in my town 😀😁
And I never care about Duke's power... I am very new to bike riding and i am not gonna use it for racing and all..!!😂
As of now, it is 75-25 for me. 75℅ for duke 25℅ for Gixxer SF.
So, what bike will u guys recommend for me.

Duke 200 - it's why you want, right? Then why hesitate? Do you have the patience to wait for the 2017 edition?Originally posted by Gowtham Msd View PostOk..I have now decided to remove the Pillion Comfort from my requirements...

Re: Bike Around 1.5 Lakhs
Mate, apparently you seem to have made your mind and heart for the Duke. You seem to find reasons to not wait and to buy one right awayOriginally posted by Gowtham Msd View PostYeah...for sure...but slightly worried abt the price hike for the 2017 edition
. If your heart wants it then just go ahead. Other worthy contenders IMHO are Apache RTR200, FZ25, P220(I think even the pillion seat will be comfortable), and R15s.
Cheers!
