  • Options for short rider

    Hello everyone,

Presently I ride a Babaj Pulsar 150 DTSi (almost 10 years old) on which I manage to touch my toes on the ground. I am not considering Bajaj Avenger as I don't like it.

    1. Budget - ₹ 1 lakh
    2. Age - does it matter (I have been riding bike since last 13 years)
    3. Height - 5' 3"
    4. Weight - 55 Kgs
    5. Intended usage (eg. Office/College commute, Highway runs, Racetrack usage, Weekend recreation riding etc.) - Weekdays office, weekends occassional trips within the city
    6. Fuel Efficiency requirement (approx., if any) - Good milage is must
    7. City & Highway percentage usage - 95%, 5%
    8. Approximate Daily / Monthly running - 50 Kms on weekdays, intermittent use on weekends
    9. City / Town /Village of residence (so we can evaluate road conditions / traffic / terrain / altitude / OTR pricing) - Delhi (weekend occassional trips to Noida via expressway)
    10. Brand / Bike type preference (if any) - No specific liking for any brand or type
    11. Misc - Good brakes (any ABS bike in this range?), easy on pockets to maintain, good acceleration off the block. I am a short and skinny guy hence should have low seat height. Lightweight and easy to handle (esp in heavy Delhi traffic). Comfortable pillion seat.

Already gone such threads before posting. I am looking for 150 cc+ options moreover those threads are quite old.

How about the 180 DTSi? I think the saddle height is manageable and it packs decent punch. Reliable machine as well.

Also I know you are looking at options above 150 cc but the V15 seems like a good buy for your requirements.

Guys even I am looking for a bike but it's for weekend rides for 300 kms approx. Long tours have not been ruled out. Budget of 1.2L. Might take a pillion on rides. Bdw it's my first bike.

I use hero maestro for regular commuting.
