Re: Looking for a bike under 4 lacs

    Hi Team,
Apart from RC 390 from KTM, I have been recommended by my friends for Duke390 as it has better fuel tank capacity of 13.5 and better riding position as well as better pillion seat too along with good features.
If I prefer naked bike like 2017 Duke 390, will it be a good machine? Please share your views because I have better service back up in Delhi NCR for KTM apart from other non Indian brands.

The RC 390 will not be comfortable for someone with your height. you will be really cramped and will develop body pains within a few minutes of riding.
The Duke 390 will be a better option. it has all the bells and whistles that you require, have the power to keep you happy on the highways and the sitting posture is upright.

I would advice you to take test rides of both the bikes back to back to feel the difference. We can tell you about the pros and cons of a bike, but at the end it is you who have to live with it daily. So go to the showroom and take a test ride. Feel how the bike behaves in city traffic jams, and how is behaves on highways. How good are the brakes, how it feels to ride with a pillion on the back seat. When you are completely satisfied, then only spend your hard earned money.
        Happy bike hunting.
I would like to thank my legs for supporting me, my arms for being always by my side and my fingers; I could always count on them.

Re: Looking for a bike under 4 lacs

          Hi All,
Took a test ride of Duke 390 n Dominar 400 yesterday and both were justifying their prices as per the specifications, features, refinement n looks.
As I am having Zmr 2014 model (my height is 6'1 & 85 in weight)so riding a naked bike was something different which I can't describe in words because it was much easier for me to drag handles of both bikes to left or right.
Now I am quite puzzled in between d390 or d400 to buy because both of them describe their pricing as per their bells n whistles. There is no point saving money but I want the best bike in my hands for next 2 years or so with daily commute of 60km which is 5 days in a week to the least.
D390 has a peppy ride with head Turner looks on the other hand Dominar is like the tortoise of market ( slow n steady always wins the race) type of feeling from my side.

Please help and share your views.

Benelli TNT 302 R released yesterday and available for TD, at least in Hyderabad. I have seen it in flesh at showroom and it has good seating posture and ABS too.

Yes, Benelli 302R is very good in terms of everything, except pricing, which i think is too high for a 300cc bike. Its around 3.48L ex showroom for the standard variant(no Abs) i think.
Take a test ride and see for yourself

                  The 302R actually has ABS.

                      Hi All,

Finally bought up Dominar 400 (matt black), thanks for all the friends for their advice and suggestions. Adding few images for my both hot wheels, till now it has been a good experience (done 200+) till now. Will share a proper review after first service is done with all pros and cons (hope there are none)

                      Thanks again to everyone.
