The CBR250 is not the most sensible bike if you only want it for commuting. I would suggest something in the 150cc naked range, which should suit your purpose and pocket.
Biking is not about what you have between your legs, its all about how well you use it!!!!!!!

Give your details here if you want to help your fellow xBhpian stranded in your city

valid point there. But with a revv happy engine and absolutely nothing at the bottom, it isn't perfect for someone who has never owned a motorcycle! Of course, the TS might just love revvy bikes.

CBR250 is a great bike and getting one for 80k at 3500 odo is an awesome deal, but as you said that this is your first motorcycle and you are a daily commuter CBR doesn't suits you. Better go for FZ150, Unicorn or find any other alternative.

P.S. Iam not saying that you cant ride a CBR, Iam just suggesting that CBR will not suit as a first motorcycle.

So should I just buy it just for long distance running on weekend alone.

After reading over the internet people are suggesting me that 80k is very good price to let it go pass.

I have personally inspected bike today and there's not zero damage or paint chip anything, all services has done on Honda service center.

Nah dude! CBR is a decent all rounder! you can ride the bike in city as well as on the highways.. but yes, kindly get used to riding the bike before testing its full potential!

A daily commuter is what I used to use my Ninja 250 as.. and was using my Ninja 650 as a daily commute before recently when I realized I started ignoring my 7 year old trusty who served me well (ZMR) I started using my ZMR as daily commute these days! I do take out the other 2 bikes! 250 once a week to office and 650 for Sunday ride..

Well, my intent here is to complete 1L kms on the ZMR odo.. so far 58.5k kms completed.. close to 41.5k kms left

all services has done on Honda service center.
All services? How many services were done for a bike that has run only 3500 kms. I am trying to understand if he tried to avail all the free services? Do you have the bills in front of you showing those services were done?

To Be Honest, CBR isn't a powerful bike and we all know that.. the fact that it sells decently in the international market is because it is a beginners bike.. If the buyer can afford it. I would recommend CBR250 as the beginners bike! easy to ride, quite nimble and reliable.. I wouldn't let this sweet offer pass..
