Simply put, the Zma handles as well as the Uni if not better. And for the rear tyre, please do visit the 'TYRES' thread for your options as per budget.

The Michelin M45, Michelin Sirac, Pirelli Sport Demon(true?) are some of the options im aware of that provide excellent grip even in the wet.

            Hi,
I have used a Unicorn for 2 months. Its an awesome bike. Great for the highway, good for the city too.
I'd just like to make one point that might be of interest to you. The monoshock of the Unicorn will give you a bouncy ride on not-so-good roads if you are a lightweight person. It wasnt comfortable for me. I weigh 60kg. On highways its not a concern, but it matters on city roads. And I was using it with the softest possible setting on the monoshock.
With a pillion, the ride quality just transforms and its very comfy.

yups.... that is what i also found about the monoshocks
i am still suprised that uni's comfort is so well appreciated man
n still so many people go out n buy this bike...........
aur toh aur... i ve seen people fitting n modding this monoshocks in pulsar's etc
but yeah the biggest advantage of monoshocks is that it helps in handling nice and all
              so probably
people outweigh this fact considering the overall performance of the bike!!!

can you tell me that bouncy nature does take a toll on ur back
i mean do u have back pains etc due to this n felt uncomfortable

I completely agree with MSJ on monoshock on Uni, the two springs are more suited for variety of roads compared to monoshock (w.r.t Uni's mono). This is one of the reason I choose Xtreme, and am happy with Xtreme's overall road manners. Uni's ride is quite hard on bad roads, but on highway with 120 kilos on it rides like a dream ('wing rider' to be precise)
                @outworldly maniac : Did you cancel Zma's booking ?

If you weigh in at anything more than 55 kilos, you'll have a very 'comfy' ride which will certainly be far from 'bouncy' mate. Having ridden a Uni for three years, I can make this statement with complete confidence and a bit of pride as well.
All you need to do is spend a few minutes at the SC with a mech to get the damping you need at the rear. If you are of the DIY type, its quite easy to adjust it yourself too.

Its an extremely well engineered bike and hearing such rumours about its capabilities makes me cringe. Its not an exhaust-music-making monster unlike the Pulsar family and hence loses out on the 'fun' factor.
But if one wants to tackle the twisties on weekends and at the same time commute on the weekdays. All the while requiring your bike to give you the least bit of hassle, Id say the Uni is the best there is for the job

Any more explanations regarding the Uni's abilities is overkill and frankly an utter waste of server space as you seem to be very confused. Sort out your issues by taking a TD and weighing your needs, option and budget. Any more clarifications sought would lead to some pretty vocal flaming etc over here.

All said and done, Peace out mate !

                  Cheers !

yeah i know i am confused......... but not too much now....... if its ma wish i would have bought all bikes in the market n rode them one by one
                    but have to be practical
but you n ravi bro bent my decision hugely on the zma
frankly i loved the monster from the test ride itself even over the r15
put mileage n all come into picture which spoiled it

well if i may ask!!! why did u change to the zma??? ...... from the uni
coz it was old??? ........ did u also consider the r15??????
you can pm me if u want
                    but please do reply

R15: Quite simply was wayyy over budget.
I don't see any other downside to buying an R15...

Hello.. I am also looking for a comfortable bike karizma R/ Unicorn mostly in city ride.. ... from overall discussion i got that unicorn is good if u weigh more than 65 kg... but karizma is overall good looking and power bike.. but still i want to know which one i should go for.. unicorn/karizma r.. i have a back pain and in city drive it worsens due to bumpy roads..
