In your case, the KTM 390 ADV is worth the wait.

I wouldnt buy the 200 x-pulse if my budget was 2.5. If it was 1.10, then hell yeah.

Wont 390 ADV be a pain in the city ? And i am a noob in handling the ride by wire throttle.

          Why not the RR310?

i am not a fan of sports tourer otherwise CRB 250R would have been my first choice.

I my opinion, the Dominar will be the best option for you. The 390 Adv will not be coming in India before Dec 2018, the Dominar is a proper highway cruiser, the heat dissipation is better than the Duke and you'll will feel the weight at first but you get comfortable as you ride! The X-Pulse will be a good offroader but considering your budget why settle for something less powerful?

Well, people abroad commute on R1200GS and Multistradas, so its upto you to decide how much weight you can handle.

                Different people have different priorities.
I, for one would never buy a bike over 170KG, but then, thats me.

There are plenty of people who are happy lugging their heavy as lead Dominars and Enfields, so maybe they know something that I dont.

D400 is one of my choices. Thanks for the suggestion.

Any idea on D400 after sales service ?

Weight is the only issue for which i was inclined towards X-pulse. Any other options ?

Go through the ownership thread of the Dominar for that my friend.

                    Anyways, your other options are:

                    Wait for 390 ADV
                    Check out the Mojo
                    Himalayan

Anyways, you say you want to tour on your bike, right? What if I told you its not the bike, its the rider. You can take any bike anywhere. You'll probably run out of your ability before you run out of the bike's.
Go through this wonderful travelogue for inspiration

In Pune atleast their have been no problems with the servicing, and Bajaj has just announced 5 years warranty for the Dominar!
