Definitely, NS should log decent numbers (atleast 6000-7000+ units).Originally posted by not_a_hoonigan View PostMore than rs and ns? Whoa!
Because the old-school classic engine of P220 is simple and beautiful. Add to that, fantastic availability of Bajaj spares, the best packaging of spares (master cylinder rebuild kits have silicone grease!), and reasonable prices (the same master cylinder from Bajaj-Bybre costs very less compared to a Jap-Bybre). The bike looks long and bulky, has the right sized tyres, and I wonder how many of them are confused between a P220 and NS200.Originally posted by #bpk View PostIt has relatively less issues than ns / rs. So people prefer it for touring. Also twin shocks in rear is always more comfortable than stiff monoshocks of modern bikes.

Yayy!! That means I'll have parts availability for an infinite amount of time!!Originally posted by ashwanth.r View PostIt sold around 8500 units in September 2018 which is a very good number, so they will not stop it. Because my broke self could hardly manage to savour the honor of owning a 21 bhp two wheeled machine.
But ask me.. does that matter?
NO! Man I am practicing every aspect of riding in proper methods since...
And to the OP,
Well, to start with, my P220 is raceshift or gpshift enabled.
How many bigger displacement bikes have that on them??
You get my point right?

Re: confused among these bikes
Also, 220 has the best combination of power + pillion comfort which is rare to find these days! Rtr 200, fz 250 ,ns ,rs etc have high pillion seats which are not comfortable at all. I like simple motorcycles like 220, they should've launched a 250 or 300 cc version with oil cooling and about 25 to 28bhp of power [emoji8][emoji8]Originally posted by ashwanth.r View PostIt sold around 8500 units in September 2018 which is a very good number, so they will not stop it. Re: confused among these bikes
Also the FZ25 is a very simple motorcycle, with its engine's basic design dating back to the 1980s. It's also quite crude like the 220, the engine produces quite a bit of noise. If we look at it this way, the P220 is more modern barring perhaps the design and the carb (which is subjective and preference respectively).Originally posted by #bpk View PostAlso, 220 has the best combination of power + pillion comfort which is rare to find these days! Re: confused among these bikes
I heard this in Feb 2015 when I was getting my 220 home.Originally posted by not_a_hoonigan View PostIf the dated look doesn't bother the OP, 220 is definitely a good option to consider. Btw, I heard somewhere that the 220 is gonna get pulled off the market in the recent future, how true is this?
Oh man, this bike is in a class of its own and constantly keeps Bajaj sales charts active and very much alive.
They are testing ABS versions as well so you can understand how 220 is legendary and awesome for Bajaj and for us too.Regards,
Akash Yadav
The world ain't all sunshine and rainbows. It is a very mean and nasty place. It will beat you to your knees and keep you there permanently if you let it.

Re: confused among these bikes
Now I was going for NS200 initially, but from the wisdom of fellow xBhpians especially yourself and Aswin bro, I finally went for 220. It's comfy, tourer, and that fairing helps breakup wind at higher speeds. Also, it's easy and cheap to maintain with spares availability. Infact I'm getting mine delivered today.Originally posted by Akash.Yadav View PostI heard this in Feb 2015 when I was getting my 220 home.
