I own an NS 200 2014 model and I am going to sell it due to lots of minor issues I am facing all around. Its ODO is at 29700. Please suggest a bike under 1.2 lakh suitable for comfortable daily commute with few occasional trips. NO BAJAJ. My height is a little more than 5'11, average build and my weight is 75 kg. My main criteria is long term durability and comfort.

The newer generation Apaches are way better than their older counterparts in terms of vibration thus resulting in better comfort. Apaches are more of Adrenalin!
FZ25 on the other hand will not offer that outright power of Apache but will provide you more comfort and peace of mind.A bike on the road is worth two in the shed.

Fz 250 feels more punchy than rtr due to availability of torque at lower rpm . I have ridden both and i am 100% sure that fz 250 is more fun than rtr. But as an overall package rtr 200 abs is unbeatableOriginally posted by krishna77 View PostThe newer generation Apaches are way better than their older counterparts in terms of vibration thus resulting in better comfort. Save some more and wait till 1st april, 2019. Many of the bikes like FZ250 should be available with atleast a single channel ABS by then. There is no destination, I just want to keep riding.
Honda CBR 650F / CBR 250R ABS Repsol (Sold) / Yamaha FZ-S

Re: Daily Durable Commuter for long term use Under 1.2 lakh
Yeah adding to the others suggestions RTR200 is the best buy and VFM.
WHY ?
*Best mileage
*ABS (Dual channel)
*Good comfort
*Can be even choosed with different tyres (makes).
OR
If you wish ,you can buy P220 !!
Fill and go bike .
It's more than a decade model but still a king , OLD IS GOLD !!
*NO FI
*NO Air-cooling
But it's a beast indeed.
ABS will be launching in upcoming months !
OR
COMMUTER SEGMENT :
FZ 150 /250
I hope FZ25 is costlier .
Cheers ,
Choose wisely !!

Re: Daily Durable Commuter for long term use Under 1.2 lakh
Head on straight down to Dhanshri Hero in Sect 63, Noida. They have a huge number of Xtremes in stock in pretty much all of its colors. They even offered a small dealer discount. Nice folks there if a little incompetent. The sales guys don't know jack, told me the Xtreme was FI and was surprised when I showed him the carburettor on the bikeOriginally posted by priyank.shishodia View PostXtreme 200 is probably not available in ghaziabad.
However having recently test ridden several bikes, in my humble opinion nothing beats the Apaches right now. TVS has really done an amazing job with the new engine; smooth as silk! Also has the good stuff like ABS, Slipper clutch etc. ~1.35 on road in Delhi.

Right on Bro! And I have test ridden it back to back with duke 390, dominar, FZ, Xtreme and Hornet. It just hits the right note for me too.
