I had suzuki gixxer in mind ever since I started searching all over on xbhp, youtube, etc a year and a half ago. However, since apache 160 4v came out here, I am having a hard time deciding on a bike. Suzuki Gixxer 155 double disk(non abs) costs Rs.2,75,000(+2k for 2017 sp edition) and Apache 160 4v carb double disk costs around Rs.2,86,000 here since the prices are insane due to import taxes.
Gixxer is a tried and tested bike with lots of positive long term reviews. The only con seems to be the hard gear shift and bad pillion seat. Sadly, abs model will not be coming here.
Apache is new, weighs more, tyres are small also brakes are not that snappy but pilion seat is comfy. Also, apache is about 10k dearer and would cost slightly more to service. I want a forgiving and fun to ride bike since i'm a beginner.
1. Budget:
2. Age: 22
3. Height: 5'10"
4. Weight: 64 kg
5. Intended usage: commute + recreational rides.
6. Fuel Efficiency requirement (approx., if any): 40+ kmpl
7. City & Highway percentage usage: 90% city
I appreciate a lot for taking your time. Thank you.

Btw I know the pillion comfort is not that good, but how bad is it? Is it better than the dukes or is it really unbearable?
