R3 yes it is logically the best in the segment, - My problem is the whole international variant just got a new facelift, while every other country got new facelift model we just got ABS model, I can't bear this step-mother treatment if you is okay with this fact and buy this now knowing new model will come eventually after 2020 BS6 comes into play, then this is a really good choice. Yes new model is aggressive and all that stuff.

RC390- Tied 1st choice, - The best of the rest if we exclude the twin cylinders, whether you wait for new model which is more relaxed or buy the existing, you won't disappointed and paisa wasool bike for every rupee you pay.

N300- Tied 1st choice, - This bike is dying in its last breath with a BS4 engine, we all know it'll not get a BS6 refresh engine because they cant make this match the emission norms. India is very few last countries where Kawasaki are dumping this bikes to clear the stock, if one is okay to buy this insipte of knowing the last day of thsi bike is 31/03/2020, then no issues.

RR310- Last choice, - True, I don't know why just can't connect with this bike, TVS service issues, long waiting periods, mixed reviews, pricey by 20-30K. So yes this is the last choice.

The point mentioned about Kawasaki was somewhat lingering in my mind since long
And whatever you say makes sense
Definitely they would not come up with any new engine so only thing would be to stop the sale completely

So effectively am left with R3 and 390
In either case i guess have to postpone the plan of buying, since both of these/either of these can come up with new model by last quarter of this year.

Btw any information about if kawa is working on any other 300cc or they are going with only 400cc to take on R3, 390RC etc

Kawa is pinning it's hopes on the N400 globally as it's offering in this segment; but in India it is let down by atrocious pricing. It's about 1-1.5 lakh rupee gap that separates the N400 and N650's which makes it a tough sell.

Another point is that if you keep waiting for the upcoming update to launch, you might never be able to buy something.
After all by the time, you may be getting ready to buy the R3/RC390, Benelli might have sorted their house, Kawa might have localised N400 etc etc. You'll perhaps put in an easy 10000 kms of riding between now and Q4, and who knows might be considering an upgrade!

          Lol
Yes have thought about this as well

But to be honest i really liked the rumored bluetooth feature in upcoming RC 390
Would be willing to wait for it. It sounds pretty cool and lot of fairing is changing buying a bike now and after 8 months seeing entire design and features getting an upgrade, don't want that to happen at all.

Which bike do you own currently?
As long as you are not in any hurry to get a new bike within some fixed date and current bike is serving you well, then you can wait it out until the whole dust settles with new face-lifts launching for R3, RC390 and BS6 engines launching for all bikes from 1st April 2019 etc etc.

But again like already said in above post, if you keep waiting for something better and latest, that day might never come. You will be growing older and something better gets launched every single day.

            Edit: I mean 1st April 2020

              Ya i know
But currently have R15 V2 serving me good enough. This is upgrade not an urgent necessity so i guess I'll wait for sometime and see where things are headed.

R3 is a better city n touring bike the current version, but the rc is also a beast but much more committed if your into that. I honestly like the older r3 over the new one, looks better (subjective), n the riding position is not as committed as the newer incoming model.
