Re: Upgrading to Kawasaki Ninja 300

Sorry to barge in on the conversation
I had opened up a thread a month back regarding the confusion of buying a new bike
      I was looking at RR310, R3, RC390 and N300

Finally decided to stick with N300 due to following reasons
1- Cost of spare parts have come down drastically and availability has also improved from what i heard, waiting time of 3 weeks or less for important parts
2- Coming to part where it was mentioned N300 is discontinued in most markets, Even if N300 gets discontinued next year due to BS VI and N400 get local assembly like N300 got, it will still be 60-70k higher than N300 and I was not willing to wait for a year or stretch the budget by another 70K (that is if N400 takes local assembly route)
3- RR 310, RC 390 both are single cylinder engine and won't have that refined feel of dual cylinder
4- R3, well it makes a very compelling proposition but I decided not to go for it mainly due to budget which would be stretched by 50-60k and end of the day entire R series family, all look the same R15 V3 looks almost same as R3 which i personally don't like (Many people may not be convinced with this thought of mine, but for me personally thats a deal breaker)

So finally after lot of RND decided to go for N300
