1. First ride was to Himachal. Spent 3 months in the hills with Mojo and the experience was amazing. Great engine with good balance of torque and power. Did not have any issue in cold, humidity or even the heat of Rajasthan
2. I was very happy with the performance and took the motorcycle with me to Bangalore. This is where things started going south
3. Mojo started giving trouble with ignition. It just would not start and leave me stranded on red lights
4. Bangalore has only one service centre and they were not able to sort the issue out. They wanted to change the oil filter (5k). Turns out, it was just a battery issue. I got the battery changed and the issue got resolved. But the whole experience laster for about 15 or so days and multiple moments of me doing a jump start
5. Next issue - I ordered a saddle and pannier set from m2all (the online store of Mahindra). Turns out, it is not a fit for my BS4 version (It was clearly mentioned on the website that the set was for BS4). I have been sending mails and fighting them for return/refund but they have clearly refused to do so. It's a battle in progress and I will update the result once it concludes
My experience, compared to what it was with the CBR 250 R for 10 years is that Honda provided excellent, impeccable, beautiful after sales service. Their dealer knew what was going on in the motorcycle every time something went wrong (it did not go wrong often), and the brand was also very responsible, I tried contacting them just once and they ensured that the issue was resolved in 2-3 days or so.
Yes, Mojo is a great motorcycle but my experience shows that the brand is not interested much in the after sales service experience at this point. The system is broken and I am not really happy with it.
