Secondly, CBZ X gives a lesser FE than Unicorn, cos it has got almost a BHP extra of power. Also it is not as refined as the Unicorn again for the same reason.
    what is FE here ?????

well i can compromise few Kms on mileage say 50 is least expected and more pickup and stylish look ( cbz really changed my basic requirements since this is going to be my last bike in two wheeler segment) so i need more power, decent mileage, good handling, performance and long termer.

and what about the resale value of cbz ?

      FE is Fuel Economy.

HH and Honda bikes both have good resale value.

yes as insane bike said....forget 150cc segment if u want that kinda mileage..uni gives u max 55 at the begining but it gradually decreases to 40~45 iun the long run...
unicorn is most refined bike in india ..u can call it as silent assasin..
being said that its a sluggish bike when compared to CBZ X and HUNK..three of them will give u macho looks ..but hunk TOPS in the terms of looks..
and CBZ and HUNK r powerfull too..

again takes a test ride of cbz, hunk then compare it with unicorn if u have handling, and comfortness in mind...but in terms of power both r powerfull than uni

          @Jedy,
          1. Neither Hunk nor CBZ-X will give 50-55kmpl on daily basis in city riding conditions, they may fetch such mileage in longish sane driving only. Unicorn will fetch 3-5 kmpl more than CBZ/Hunk.
          2. And as devilpulsarian says, Xtreme and Hunk are 'powerful' 'Unicorns'. All are excellent choices but if you need consistent mileage of 50-55kmpl then step aside and downgrade to 100cc bikes.
          3. FYI, I own CBZ-X and get about an avg. mileage of 43 to 46 kmpl in B'lore city. ( presently with my cousin in Tumkur)
          4. The only 150cc that could probably satisfy 50-55kmpl is Achiever, the bike may not be available now as the sales are very poor since it's launch. If you are interested contact HH toll free number (1800-180-0016 )and find out if you can get the model in your city. Visit HH website and see if you get full details of this bike have a look at it's styling too... My friend owns one and is more than happy with it !!! (FYI, Achiever is the FOURTH Unicorn !!)
          5. Finally I would say go for Unicorn, it's risk free, proven machine.

I will be driving 45 Kms daily in chennai city so expecting a good mileage , better ride comfort, good after sales service and especially low back pain. I heard from friends that riding pulsar in awkward position (due to the design) will worsen the back pain and its engine will make more noise after 2 years when compared to Unicorn.

I agree with Sarvajit, I think the GS150R will suit your requirements perfectly.. though I can't say anything about resale value ...

Why don't u check the GS ownership thread once? Ppl have compared it to its counterparts frm the other companies (mainly unicorn) ...

Guys, after much confusion finally I have settled down with Honda Unicorn and became a proud wing rider. I bought a Black Uni last week for 65k onroad in chennai and some accessories including the tuff coat. This bike is really awesome and very smooth.

I even test drive the CBZ but somewhat not felt the comfortness.I felt its not me who riding the bike, the bike rides me.

Now my main concern is to maintain my black beauty without any scratches and its glossy finish. So please suggest me the good bike polish and bike wash products available in the market.

Also i need ur valuable suggestions about the manintenance and tips since I am new to 150cc and disc braking.

Thanks a lot for all of you who made me to take the decision and buy Unicorn.
