ok so today i went to the TVS showroom at Indiranager to see the new Menace, and I loved the looks . They were closing the shop but promised a test ride on monday for me. There seems to be no waiting for the 180 . They said 73500 is the price, and they needed 4 photos, 1 address proof and the cash/cheque and they are ready to give the bike the next day . Lets se what monday unveils.

heh heh yeah Himanshu and if that was not enough, just saw the Car and Bike show. Bajaj confirmed the launch of the Ninja in August for 2.5L

so will wait till then

I am in Bangalore bro. Sorry man I dont think there will be a TD of the RTR now but if Bajaj keeps up its promise, I promise you an ownership experience of the Ninja 250

Actually, sammy, Mr Bajaj told Sunny within three months. I am not discouraging you but it might take some time. Also, I think 2.5L OTR is being highly optimistic.

Yeah Pranay, but considering the fact that I have been in love with it since I saw it in the 2nd Auto expo, over a decade back whats a few more measly months. And regarding the price, frankly I dont mind even if they give it at 3L OTR , I know it is too much for a 250 but isnt that what true love is about? Crossing the barriers of time and price

I am ready to exhaust my lifes savings (not much but whatever I have managed to scrape) on this plus I have the permission of my wife to do so for the Ninja hee hee

I wanted it when I was about 20, wont mind even if I get it at 33 (this year)

This news has skewed the entire purpose of this thread, just when I had given up the plans and was planning to go in for a weekend commuter BAM, back to dreaming.

Guess will have to ponder over it while I wait. I used to have a Hero Puch in 89 and then a Splendor post and they were very dependable but then I had an excellent mechanic back in Doon who used to take care of them so never ever had to worry about them and as they were new that time parts were never an issue.
