Anyway,the deal is that I got an offer on a 1 year old blue R15. Done 2.4k on the odo,with a price tag of 90k(seemed negotiable up to 85k). The bike is in stock condition,running on semi-synth oil,well run-in and maintained. Owner is a little big for the bike so wants to sell it off and get a RD350. Seemed like a genuine case to me. Does it sound appealing to you guys? I am really smitten by the R15(hence please don't suggest any other bikes viz. P220 dtsi),but can't really afford 1.1 lacs as of now,and this sounded like a decent option,so should I go for it?!

Umm GP freak sorry to barge in onto your thread man,but I had a similar query,so I thought I could just add it here. If the mods feel its better for me to start a new thread,will do so,when informed. Hope you don't mind the interference.

By the way, i think u can still try pushin your luck by having a small bargain with the owner. But for 85, if i had got a mint bike as you tell, i would have taken it.

Guys, i have finished off the deal a couple of weeks back. The bike cost including the Post acquisition repair/ insurance works costed 79 k.
If required i wil post the pictures of the bike for reference, else this thread can be closed. Thanks for every one who has contributed.

Congrats. I am a bit late to respond. Hope you have got the rear disc pads replaced. If need be, get the disc plate replaced as well. The low speed vibration seems to be the speedo stay vibe. Ask the mechs to put in some double sided stickers there, that should solve the problem!
You forgot to ask the owner about the fall&also how he did the run-in? How much mileage is she returning btw?
Also get the engine mount bolts tightened (this reduces a lot of harshness that we imagine is from the engine). Check Digislayer's post in the R15 thread with pics.

Have replaced the rear pads, 6th service done, cluth lever replaced, normal yamalube and the total 6th serivce cost was 1700 k.
you are sharp on correct.The speedo stay is pretty loose. Now there is no slow speed vibes, but there is hell a lot of chick chilack silk noise when i cross 70 kmph. could be the chain noise. The lft handle need replacement.
lots of vibration post 6 k rpm, tanks and foot pegs. Thanks dude...Yup, this is a great bike... But there are some stupid problems which i faced with the bike. When i went to renew the insurance, i didnt know where the chasis number is embossed. The sticker was already peeled off.
