  • 1st bike

Hey all, this is Sahaj, from Jaipur, this is my first post, and yeah for my 1st bike..
I've been a fan of Automobiles since class 6th and decided to take my 1st bike(I use a dio, on which i stunt) I am confused b/w R15, P220 dts-i or fi, Ninja 250, or the upcoming HH ZMR and Honda CBF 150.
    My requirements are---
    Usable torque(r15 barred. )
    decent fuel efficiency
    Less maintainability
    Stunt Machine(optional)
    and yeah a flaunt machine.
I would like to keep the bike for like 5-6 years or a bit more
P.S- no FZ, or the new Fazer.
    Thanks in Advance.

If you have the patience to wait for it, I would recommend you the Ninja 250. Stunting on it is absolutely possible, but in case you have a fall, the bill might cause another fall!

Well if you have shortlisted Ninja 250 then you cannot possibly still ask for fuel efficiency .

If you got the money then wait 2 months for Ninja , nothing comes close to it

are you sure of it..i mean is it speculation or is there any solid evidence that it will be launched in two months?
Why is the man who invests all your money, called a broker?

Well i dont understand one thing mate, if you realy wanna go for those performance bikes then how can u expect a decent fuel efficiency and Less maintainability, apart from that if you want a VFM then u can go for 220dtsi and if money is not the issue then 'HELL YEAH NINJA 250'

hey first of all thank you for your invaluable suggestions.
i am not asking for phenomenal fuel efficiency, it should be LIKE OKAY kinda.
less maintenance---i mean that no need of frequent service intervals.
moreover I'll turn 16 this 31st of july so it should be my KINDA, the flaunt thing, and i can wait for maximum 2-3 months, so it'd be kind of you all if you if you put light on the ZMR and honda CBF 150, what about their launching dates and specifications.
and yeah i forgot to mention,,,, great braking(front and rear disks)
waiting for more suggestions, thank you.

                    Mmmm... Isn't 16 a little under-age and illegal to be driving/biking around?

+1, also all other full faired bikes like r15 and ZMR will cost you much if you are going to practice stunting on them

no offence but seriously you consider buying a brand new bike and practice stunting when you don't even have a driving licence

Well boy... u should consult the Firefox thread. Buy a bike once you are 18. Till then, best of luck with the DIO. Just kidding. I too got my first bike when i was 16.
Considering your requirements and the road sense of people in Jaipur (i did my Engineering from NIT Jaipur... so i know how u ppl drive), a fully faired bike is a strict no-no and more so for a 16 yr old like you.
Go for RTR 180 or for RTR 160-FI if you need good low-medium end torque and decent CHALTA-HAI types fuel efficiency.
