Ahem! I beg to differ in availability of parts.
Being in a metro city (as I see the author is from chennai) If you know how to get spares parts I bet you can get it faster than the beloved P220's spares.

Since there is not much of official support from the Kinetic guys, You just need to spend little more time on planning when/what spares might be required and should be ready to spend a little extra (if need be).
Sometimes you need to be pro-active in arranging for the parts. When you do get a chance to buy spares, no harm in keeping parts which wear out commonly (clutch cables, accelerator cable, etc.)

If you aren't prepared for this or if you are a person who wants to solely depend upon showroom for everything, then don't go for the Comet.

Having owned/maintained a Comet for almost three years. I haven't had much of problems procuring parts.

Also I have seen a lot of Kinetic showrooms still have a lot of comet/aquila's commonly used spare parts with them. You might get it from them.
PS: Guys please don't mislead if you yourself don't know properly.
