    FZ-S vs APACHE 180 Going for the bike tomorrow :)

    Hi guyz,

    I am going to get my first bike tomorrow

    My two and options are

    Apache 180
    FZ-S

    (No fazer it cost more than 10K from FZ-S here.. Even the yamaha sales man was saying if you are stupid or have boat loads of money go for fazer or else get the FZ-S same thing and look like a king lolz.)

    I am really confused between both of them

    My height is 5.6
    Weight is 50kg

    Tell me about both the bikes performance wise
    Looks everyone knows lol
    Any other speciality if any..

    If you are looking for performance, go for the 180 I feel. Have not seen the specs of the FZ-S. But Manan came on tour with his 180 and it performed beautifully indeed!
    The Wheel was a great invention; Two Wheels with a Motor in between was even better!

      Performance: A180
      Looks: FZ-S -- Even FZ at around 2k lesser is a good option as specs are same.

      As per me, go for A180 if you are not engulfed by the FZ(S)'s looks.

        Go for RTR 180...

        For:

        Smooth relaxed no frills thrills riding,
        YAMAHA's name,

        Go for FZ-S

        (but still RTR 180 makes more sense between the two and is more BANGS per BUCKS...)

          I would recomment u RTR180....the White Angel.....

          It can succumb FZ away in almost all the platforms.....
          *Performance
          *Mileage
          *Looks(not much when compared to the Naked looks of FZ but somehow)

          And since u weight only 50KG u should look lean and so RTR matches ur Body Build easily...

          U get more stuff in RTR then FZ.....FZ has nothing in it but only to show its Fat tyres and Tank (FZ owners no offense) when compared to Power Packed 180......

            FZ handles better than RTR180 in almost all riding conditions.... monoshocks making all the difference.

              No......

              handling just not only depends and shines in the bike just cuz the bike has a monoshock,it's complete thing which depends on the chasis setup,tyres,suspension setup,weight distribution,swingarm position to name a few...

              and yes my frnd....
              you post a better track time in FZ/FZ-S/FAZER than RTR/RTR FI/RTR 180,and i'll sweep the whole track for you....

                Hey Krates as per your need, did u test ride both the bikes....??? Which one did you feel comfy in mmmm both are good bikes in there own respective way but you should see what stands upto your expectations buddy....so all the best and ride safe also buy a good helmet and if possible few riding gears as well enjoy brother

                      I test drove R15 and FZ.. the mistake I did was test drove R15 first.. I loved R15 .. After that FZ.. FZ was great but... still not much good..

                      if Apache drives like R15 then Apache all the way..

                        take ride on both of em in rush hour and on empty roads, take one which suits more to your comfort and riding conditions, u did not specify your purpose too city riding or touring. Also just don't go bonkers in test ride assess what you will do in real life condition, cuz at test ride we tend to max out the bike.

                          both bikes were great..

                          Apache is more sportier.. FZ is more comfortable..

                          Again confused..

                          Here one Policeman uses apache ~x( because of him everyone is saying even policeman uses apache lolol..

                          I will mainly be using the bike for city riding..

                              RTR 180 all the way buddy...
