Congrats on your your decison @krates buddy. You are going to Enjoi the FZ. Last nite it rained all nite in Bangalore and I finished work at 6 AM and took the FZ out for a ride cos I wanted to get a feel of her handling in tough wet conditions and she really held well on very slippery conidtions. And really proved to be the Lord of the Streets and brought a huge huge grin on me face

Congrats on the purchase. Your story resembles mine pretty closely. Though you'll realise in a few days that FZ is much more than stylish looks.

By the way, I see you took the bike to 100kmph. Don't do it again. Don't rev the bike more than 4500RPM for the first 500 km and 6000RPM for the first 1000kms.

How did you come to know that I took it to 100 kmph

I will not do that again ... was checking the top speed

                  will keep it below 80

I agree with you... FZ is as good as TVS XL :-)
I raced with my Royal Enfield Thunder Bird which is not a sprinter... Though the pick of my bike is not that good I could catch it in less than 500 mtrs.....

Actually, 4500 RPM means something around 60. So keep it below that for the first 500kms and below 6k RPM till 1000 kms for the bike to perform well in the long-term.

Yeah, I know its tough to keep your spankin' new bike in those restrictions, but I know you can do that
