The choice of colour is upto you buddy..its your personal decision and why do you want us to decide on that?Go for the one your heart says.
+1 to that! Some of my friends wonder how I can tour on the R15. I never got any sort of pain due to the bike yet.
I would say go for whichever you like/can afford &use it for everything!
If the choice is between the 160&180, I would say the 180 is better suited for cruising at higher speeds!
Now that you are asking about colors, I am in love with the gunmetal grey-if it were available in R15, I would have gone for it without a 2nd thought!

C'mon, use your common sense. Only the top end models of the lineup are displayed.

The Star Sport(and the Scooty Teenz) is not there. It's selling really well.Has that also been discontinued?!

bro you can go for apache 160 but its a sporty street bike sitting position is not up-right its bending forward you can tour on apache but you will think of a break after 100 or so km but if you are planning for A-180 then go for pulsar-220dtsi it's sitting position is up-right and you will not get tired after 100km...

But now am geting the doubt tat Apache is a good Choice for Touring..? My tours would be 1000 - 1500kms.. or else do i ve to go for Apache 180..?
Pls Help me guyz.. going to get it in a week..

dude let me tell things frankly .. You can tour in any bike i agree but the comfort level you get on each bikes will be different
with all respect to all the RTR owners , let me tell you one thing
RTR is a very good bike and sporty but there are many bikes offer much more comfort for long tours . Try HH Karizma and new p 220
The best thing you can do is go and try each bike. If possible get a bike from your friend so that you can ride at least 25 km on it in single stretch.

                You will find that
                1. HH Karizma offeres much more comfrt than apache RTR .
It gives you the "Big bike feel " . You can ride for hours without any problem . I had done many tours on karizma and many includes very long single strech . The only portion i feel pain/tired is butt .

Believe me THe Karizma and p 220 offers much more comfort than any apache for long tours

If you want to go for apache go for it . it is a great bike and have great acceleration and top speed but dont overestimate apaches touring capability
ZMa and p 220 offers much more comfort for long tours than apache
i know many had done even Leh tours on apache but the comfort level and big bike feel offered by apache for long tours cannot be matched to Zma or p220.

had mixed feeling about capabilities of rtr as tourer ,till i bought an rtr-fi... immediately i fell in love with it...till then was using my unicorn and bro zma for long rides...
let me tell u its as comfy as other bikes only thing is you have to be prepared...but cruising at 80kph in country roads is best if u have unicorn...rtr is more like a sprinter u have to belt or else u will miss the fun and will start blaming the bike..so decide if u want a fast tourer with a very good mileage(returns 47+/-2kpl even if u maintain 100kph AVERAGE speed) go for rtr...no doubt u will love it ...
