Gearless scooter for daily commuting. Budget30K

    Gearless scooter for daily commuting. Budget30K

    Looking for a gearless scooter for daily commuting of my wife.
    Daily run around 20 KM and once in a month weekend punch of 50-80Km.
    Mileage no issues.
    As I already have a two wheeler, budget for this 32K (On Road)

    I am not interested in second hand ones. As I don't find myself comfortable with idea of second hand ride.

    Preferences:
    Max speed atleast 60KMPH
    good looks.

    till now, found only two Kinetic Kine and Zing 80. Any other one, which is still in production? How about Scooty TEENZ 'petrol' version. price/reviews?

      You have a Very Low Budget to own a good quality Scooter
      Its Kinetic King and Zing 80 that uve Mentioned .....Both the scootesr doesnt have a good stability and also not in production....
      Why cant u invest more and buy her a Scooty or Streak which is really worth for the Money....
      Else invest on a Moped like TVSXL....which also does the Job,,

        The TVS teenz is still is production and is a much better buy than the Zing/kine(both are the same if I'm not wrong)....teenz suits your requirements IMO.There's the electric one too if you want to have a try... hope this helps

          Go for Hero Honda Pleasure !!

          I guess you should give equal importance to product (just like budget), for 32K on road you won't get any established and good product. Add another 8K and go for Hero Honda Pleasure, proven engine, proven brand, biggest svc network....

          Else you can gor for some 2 Stroke well maintained Kinetic Honda (IInd hand) and save huge initial cost (one can get for as low as 15K), but maintaining may become quite costly.

              For 30K, you will get a used Honda Dio or Activa in very very good condition. They meet all your requirements. Honda's engine being bullet-proof, they serve you longer time too. Very low on maintenance.

                guys. guys..

                I know, that budget is low and second hand seems to be the easiest option.. But I don't like second hand bikes.

                Also, here the requirment of the rider is different.. She likes touring with me as a pillion and want to ride a tourer herself and ultimately a RE (over a 5year timeframe).
                But her riding experience has been close to zero.. so want to invest in a low cost scooty, which will give her traffic sense.. so budzet is low.. we won't be using it for ANYTHING except 15KM daily.

                So what are our options now .. scooty Teenz.. whats the price for that?

                    As far as I remember, Pleasure and Scooty costs around the same price and that is on road 40-42k here in bangalore.

                      thrs z a two stroke TVS scooty ES also available in show rooms ... its price is smthin arnd 28 k .....on road [ i guess] it will fit into ur budget as well

                      u can jus chk it out ....
                      u can go for tat buh mind its a two stroke engine..!!

                            U think that she can tour with a Scooty Teenz,,,,or any XX scooter which is a Frist hand and lesser than 30K

                            Remember the so called Scooty Teenz doenst have better stability and these low CC scooters are not suitable for Touring....
                            And also Scooty ES is an electric scooter ---- which is also not suitable for Touring....

                            For touring purpose and to choose a scooter - go for the available three Honda's(Dio, Aviator, Activa)
                            None of new generation scooties are made for touring(more than 100KM's)

                            Im damn sure u cannot get a good First hand scooter for 30K and do touring; for your wife...(if u get do not blame me)

                              touring and scooty teenz in the same sentence dont go well.I suggested it because the name of the thread was "gearless scooter for daily commuting"...It's better if you go in for a second hand scooter then like everyone here suggested.
