    If you can compromise a little on the mileage, go for the 220. Since you are planning to keep the bike for 3 years at least, this would be the best VFM for you.

      Hey bro,you can also look at the Pulsar 180.Everyone here,including me are so glued on to RTR180,that we almost forget this bike...IMO it's one of the bikes that suits you perfectly and worth giving a try...
      It all begins with a thumb-start -- Oh, wait, I forgot the kill-switch

        I am sure Suzuki has acted fast and resolved few niggles surrounding GSR150, I strongly recommend GSR if you are not interested in Unicorn. Just saw TV ads about discounts and festival offers check out GSR once

          thanks for the reply guys.

          @srini

          I did consider P180. It has all the great features i require including tubeless tyres etc but my concern is the riding comfort of p180. I heard that it's not at all comfortable for a long ride. And also my experience with bajaj previously hasn't been great.

          @Vipin

          If Suzuki manages to solve those issues then surely i will buy it. I did like the bike but the issues kept me away from it. Anyways i have 2 weeks time to decide on the bike.

          Am considering these bikes for touring purpose as well. So i need a reliable, comfortable bike( Pillion comfort is very imp too).

            biker, Suzuki has already resolved the issues, yesterday I saw brand new bike near a temple, I closely observed and had a chat with owner, the bike's build quality is no less than HH/HMSI....if any doubts, go for evergreen Unique Horn !! Good luck !

              Hello biker123,
              I have bought GS150 in August 1st week and haven't faced any issues or rust or any other major one. The drawbacks of this bike are poor rear brake (which can be marginally improved after 1st service) and poor headlight focus. The positives are its superior build and ride quality, smooth gear shifts, decent mileage of 50-55 + and good road presence. I went on a 200+ kms jorney after my 1st service and the ride quality is excellent especially in 70- 90kmph speed interval.
              As to the brakes, the front disc brake more than compensates for the poor rear one, I was cruising at 90 + on highway when suddenly a dog came in front of me. I slammed only the front brakes in panic and the bike in just couple of secs came to <50 kmph without any hitch.
              The rust issue was only with certain batch (mostly initial) and the suzuki guys have refunded the full amount to two guys whose bikes had severe rust.
              Its a long reply but believe me you won't regret if you buy GS, for more info you can ask for GS owners in the ownership forum.
