Thanks to wheel_spin & shanz on the valueable opinion on the Fairing aspects.

@ Jithu thanks on the opinion bro, i would like to know have you experienced these Yamaha stable bikes, though i didnot have a proper ride for these. "FZ and Fazer is over priced and underpowered" are Yamaha FZ and Fazer are really underpowered, i read, those sulk after 80km/hr. may be you are reffering to that. ZMA is really a good bike.

@ RanjithMN thanks for your opinion, getting mixed reviews though..Cheers!

@RX100.7050 Thanks dude, i guess by your profile pic u own P220, i experienced P180, the guy at my locality has ripped it so much, that the Exhaust Sound is itching ears. I want a bike which will be loved by me and admired by others. Ahh, yes the pillion rider seat is qutie uncomfortable, i have read that too, mostly i wud be riding with my Sibling Bro, to Footbal ground, hope he doesnt like getting cramps in his butts..
FAZER being a waste of money, it does sounds though, as XBHPIAN's say its a Good Bike for poser, am myself not a Poser, but Yamaha productis are Quite Tempting.

@Srini, bro definitely i will take a test ride as you say. Thanks!!

@bhargava_sr Thanks for the analytical opinion, i do look on Refinement, as i dont want a bike which will get me into high maintainance. I have never rode a Karizma bahargava, so cant have a take on that, but i value ur opinion and give a thought on that too.

    @dhurvesh Thanks for the advice.!!

Friends, most probably this Sunday i wil be going to Panvel, which has many Bike showrooms near by, so will have a try there. Will update soon, with my views on ma desired bikes...

Thanks to all the Enthusiast XBHPIAN's

      Friends,

I forgot to mention, i am not a Cruising/Racer type biker. I like smooth riding, anything around between 50-70/80 will do. I dont think i will be going that speedy on my bike. So thats another point added, I want comfortable hazzle free riding.!!

      Thanks,
      Sunny

Yes dude .. i have experience on Fz but not in fazer (but both are same engine right?) . My room mate have FZ and i used to ride it often .. whenever we go to long trips we used to exchange the bikes and ride.. i have tried Fz in all forms . i have ripped it to its maximum also .
I will tell you it is a perfectly smooth machine and the comfort we are getting is superb.

Seems that FZ is the best bike for you . ,.if you like this bikes style and riding position and not planning to go above 100 just close your eyes and go for Fz 16. 3 of my friends have this bike and none faced any problems. The only thing i dotn like in fz is once it croses 90 we feel drop in power . i cannot complain because it is designed for streets and if we want high speed d riding we have r15 from yamaha. So if you are sure that you are not interested in taking the bike above 100 just go for FZ . it is the best suited bike according to your criteria (even though it is slightly over priced). ANd the 0-60 of the bike is really impressive. For city riding it is a very good bike..

RTR 180 is a wonder full bike with a great value for money but after reading your posts i think FZ is the best bike for your purpose and taste. ANd one more thing the pillion comfort in FZ is not as bad as others telling .When i was sitting on Fz as pillion it was comfortable for me .. but for ladies who sit side wise it is not that good..

Dude unless you are totaaly flattered by fazers styling , please dont go for Fazer (too much over priced ) , get an FZ you will get same engine .. and you can use the rest of money for good riding gears..

One more thing i want to ass is regarding mileage .. dude dont expect too much from FZ it wil give above 40 (around 42-44) if you ride smooth and if you start to ripp it it will give you around 36-38 ..

          all the best

My Suggestion Will be go for Karizma R(Even if it is a touring machine.it is added advantage) or Apache RTR 180.RTR 180 got some slight vibration issue at speeds between 55-70kmph(As per Me!).Apart from that ,RTR180 is Good.

                  Hi Xbhpians,

Sorry i couldnt update the status on buying of my bike, as i previously decided to buy bike on the Festive season, but i couldn't as i had to back out of the idea coz i utilized the Funds for my family reasons. Now as my dad has bounced back as he was really feeling bad as i had to miss out on my bike for Diwali, now he has assured the Bike this week. Now, during this one month gap i analysed on FZ/FZ-S/Fazer, i decided to Skip on FAZER dont know why? But now i have locked Horns on FZ-S (Silver streak/Yellow Black) and my Customised THought FZ-16. (refer Attached Pics). Is FZ-S bulky in looks that FZ-16 coz by looking at both FZ16 and FZ-S, FZ-S looks huge in comparisson. SO am confused in Choosing the Rite color. Please need some majority votes on the choosing the Rite color, please suggest, please do see my customised FZ-16 pic and suggesst.
THanks in advance...and sorry for slow response...

                              GO FOR PULSAR 220 DTSi

                              Hi Sunny,

My advice to go for Pulsar 220 DTSi, its value for money.

Mileage will be 45+ if you maintain 70KM Speed below.

In this bike, u will get a good power - 21.04 PS, decent mileage, good style and more over THE FASTEST INDIAN BIKE....

Service cost also very less when compare with other brands.

So, first go and have test drive in any near by bajaj probiking showroom and discuss about the serivce charges, then u plan accordingly.

Sunny keep me posted when you decide.

                              Bye for now,

                              NMK.
