Passion pro all the way man . If he is a big physically , I dont think he ll be comfortable on a lean disco 100 .

Discover as well as Star are both good bikes. Did you test rode the 110cc version of Star. It is one heck of a refined performer.Has pulling power like no other and would still return great mileage!!

It's good that you stayed away from G5.I have heard horrible stories from Libero owners!!

discover 100 and xcd are small in dimensions, but good in mileage
but honda shine is good in looks, performance, dimensions(size) and mileage too, so it may be a good choice.

Yeah, I test rode the Star City 110cc with electric start and alloy wheels. The Star sport version is 100cc with no self starter..My dad needs a self starter because of his knee pain..also Star City 110 is little bigger than Start sport..
While test riding the bike, i noticed that the bike is very comfortable..it had been more than 4 years since i had ridden a 100cc bike..In fact i was quite surprised that 100cc bikes have become so good these days!!...

              Discover 100 test ridden today!!..

Did a test ride of the Discover 100 today.
Visited the Bajaj showroom in the evening. First thing I noticed even before I got to see the bike was the Fantastic showroom. Its probably the best showroom in my town(Vellore). The person at the reception immediately responded when i told her that i need to test drive the Discover 100. A service mechanic brought the bike outside, and to my surprise it was not a Black/blue,Black/red,Black/green Discover..It was a RED color Discover 100 which i had not seen before.

My test ride: The bike felt much much bigger than the Star City and there was plenty of room for my arms to extent freely. The riding position was spot on. It felt very much like a big 125cc-150cc bike. I knew my Dad will fall in love with the kind of comfort it offers. To my surprise the Engine and the Gearbox feel was fantastic.I did a 5 minute ride in heavy traffic and still felt pretty much comfortable. After the ride I had a huge smile on my face!! The last two days have been a revelation. Not even in my dreams did i think that 100cc bikes would have become so damn good!!

So we have decided to pick the Discover 100 in the first week of November. Color- The Stunning Dark red color which i took for the test ride!!..

Here are some pics of the bike i test rode.

Congrats! Best choice in the segment!

PS: This bike has DC headlight, no flickering at idle/low rpms!

                PPS: Our choices are similar!

Bro, even I am having the same idea and requirements to buy a bike to my dad. Discover 100 is very good in terms of features it offers at that rate but I am slightly carried of with Bajaj's reliability. Whether the bike will be good even after one or two year ?

Why Yamaha 100 CC bikes are not considered ? Are they not worth ?

If you are opposed to Bajaj bikes, hang on for a while, Yamaha is supposedly going to launch a 100cc bike next year.
