Not on that stretch. When I go steady, even at higher speeds, I still maintain close to 45kmpl. However, the average drops a lot when I do Cross or Trail riding when I accelerate hard around corners on 2nd and ride mostly on 3rd at 7K rpm on gravel! Then the mileage drops to less than 35kmpl!

Coming to mileage, I get steady mileage no matter how i drive. The variation is hardly 2-3 kms.

It is taller geared and the power surge after 7K is definitely noticeable. But also noticeable is the difference in speedo readout between the two.

Finally i have a few bikes to giveme company with more speedo error.
