I guess you are speaking about Ninja 250. The fairing of ZMR will be below one-fourth of Ninja's or equal to one-fourth.

Ravi R15 fairing costs 14k, HH cant be so low. I'll be very happy if that is so. I was thinking, I'll get rid of fairings and use it as naked bike...this will also keep heat in check.

i found the zma-r to be value for money and nice package for 75k..

hh is not sure of zmr success thats why they have not discontinued zma-r.

infact in my city delhi.....two dealer ships in my area hasnt even got a booking for zmr.

and ppl are prefering zma-r over zmr.....

even my two friends booked silver zma-r.

I am guessing the price of the fairing to be around 5k for ZMR. It can be wrong.

You have to ride atleast 100 Kms everyday. ZMR is the bike to Go. It is the best bike available for highway touring, and 'above all' it gives a very good Fuel efficiency, resulting in a good range.

Even if the ZMR turns out to be a grand success, HH will not stop ZMA. Because they both cater to different segments.

Even I am told by the sales guys that there haven't been any bookings. But came to know that the demand is so much, that the Showroom ppl are booking bikes for their known ones and delivery period is 45 days

So you mean, If a Ducati Service guy is capable of servicing a bicycle, he is not a good servicer of the Ducati bikes?

What they do in a normal service be it be any HH bike.

                Water service.
                Clean chain, adjust and lubricate.
                clean airfilter.
                Spark plug
                change /top up engine oil
                Adjust breaks
                A polish -thats it.

Any mech can do this so doesnt matter cd dawn or ZMR. we our self can do it in fact if u spend some time to lear this basic work.

ZMA doest need much of a attention if u sercice the bike regularly
The prob is when u have major issues , HH guys lack technical knowledge except a few. And also because of large no of bikes getting serviced in a single day the average time spend on a bike is 1.5 to 2 hrs for doing the above tasks. Time is the concern and we dont get a good service.

Thats why I dont give my bike in HH anymore. I have found the guy who takes care of my bike like me. He used to work in a HH service , but never spends this much time and care when he service a bike from Service center because of his schedule- cant blame him. I will blame the management.
The same guy does a super job now at his own workshop now. And my bike get more attention and care . And most importantly the same charge as a HH service center.

I have learned a lot during my 3 year ownership of my ZMA. Things we should take care other than mentioned above to maintain the bike in a good condition and less manitanace cost. Now If I go for a new bike atleast I know the basics and can take the precautions.

Just visited HH showroom to checkout ZMR. Inquired about fairing. He said the entire fairing is made of 4 parts. Basic cost of fairing is 3.5k/piece plus inner cowling and stickers, price of each piece comes to arount 4.5 to 5k. Which makes a grang total of whooping 20,000 . I also checked out personally there is no place to fix a Frame slider to protect those frames.
With chassis enclosed in the frames even leg gurad looks difficult.

20K. Are you sure they got the price catalogue so early? The bikes have not even reached some cities. If it is true, 20K is really huge and too pricey.
