No bike here is better than the other, it all depends on your preferences/priorities. As owners we can share our experiences, instead of saying "this one is best, or this one sucks".

        r15!!
chicken legs(tyres not wide enough to go with the appearance of the bike),
the looks like a cheap modification done by some local mechanic. :yuck:
if riding a unicorn hurts your back, r15 will surely be a 3rd degree
Someone been imagining a lot of stuff in La La land

Edit: On 2nd thought it sounds more like a case of sour grapes.

Well, buddy I feel thats your personal view
I feel R15 is the best looking properly made sports bike for India...
About riding posture, it all depends upon how fast you become used to it.
I am sure your views would change once you ride it thoroghly...!

          @ Topic starter

ZMR - The most relaxed engines in India under any type of riding. With the inclusion of FI, throttle response has improved a lot. And with an already fantastic torque spread at lower and mid revs, this bike probably is a more practical buy than an R15 on normal riding. Fun factor, I feel is the least among all the 3

R15 - The little beauty is as sluggish as (someone said) Unicorn below 6k rpm. Past that its a rocket. Extremely fun to ride and the best handler in India, better by leaps and bounds than ZMR and by a whole 1 decade than P220...! But conjusted driving is a little pain with frequent need to change the gears.

P220 - The machine which can outdo any Indian made machine right from the word go. Immensely torqy, fantastic power spread and probably the most fun to drive. But after completing 3k kms on this machine, I feel the engine is probably on the harsher side with few niggling problems as has become a regular case with Bajaj.

So, it all depends upon what exactly you are looking at. Dont compare the machines on the basis of price. They are as different as chalk and cheese. It only depends upon your priorities and preferences which will make one machine better than the other (for you).

                IMO
All the 3 are winners in their own respects , each excel in their aspect , whatever bike you take , you ll be compromising on some other aspect .
So you wont regret buying any 1 of them

ZMR- The best tourer Just got even better
220- the fast got even faster.
R15- You can put a step wrong and recover .

                Its your call mate .

As you have said it yourself, you are in love with the refinement of Honda engines (your Id also suggest the same), I would suggest you to go for the Karizma.

Why don't you consider the Karizma-R as well..??

The Karizma ZMR is 9 Kgs heavier over the Karizma-R and not much of an upgrade in terms of power either. You will also save around 20K.. which is a lot of money.

                    To the topic starter
Each and every bike has its own advantages and disadvantages
                    .

so what i say is choosing the bike is the personal opinion.

select the bike which you feels more comfort and which meets your personal likeness like looks, handeling, power, mileage etc etc

Hey any ideas on the fuel consumption of zmr since the karizma r was always famous for its notorious mileage.Yea,i know these are big cpacity bikes but still curious to know if fi has made any difference to the zma upgrade.

To be on a more practical side expect the ZMR to return 40kmpl in cities and above 45 on high longways...

I am saying this because if you set high expectations you would be the one who would feel dissatisfied. And if you get more than this, believe me you would love your bike even more...

                              @Thread starter

if you are in love with the refinement and comfortably of unicorn and want your next bike to give you same feeling i suggest you to go for
                              Karizma-R or ZMR or R15 .

P220 is a very powerful bike but its character is different . It is more on a rough side with brute power delivery. But Karizma-R or ZMR or R15 will be smooth to ride. Regarding comfortably Karizma-R or ZMR will be more comfortable than R15 in city as well as for long drives but R15 will be more fun to ride in twisties.

Karizma has more low-mid end torque so it will be the best choice for you to ride in cities than R15 . R 15 is fun to ride once you take it past 6 k rpm. If you plan for long trips Karizma will be more comfortable.

So my suggestion is to go for Karizma-R (79 on road cochin) or ZMR (around 1.04 on road) it will give you a very comfortable and relaible engine that will server you for many years ..

                                i currently own a 220
its just a kind of rocket.. u jus need to give some extra throttle and it goes like ...................................
but as u r thinking about the engine and ripping ur bike then definitely ZMA or the new ZMR.
coz bajaj engines cant bear much pain...
