  • New 110cc gearless bike (Jive) and scooter (Wego) from TVS launched

TVS to unveil new 110cc gearless bike and first in INDIA???

New Delhi, Nov. 17 -- The country's third largest two-wheeler manufacturer, TVS Motor Company, is set to launch a 110-cc clutch-less motorcycle, a first in the world's second-largest two wheeler market.

The bike will be unveiled to the company's 600-strong dealer network in Macau on Wednesday and would be launched in the country later this month. It will be powered by a 110cc engine with four gears, comparable to most other vehicles in its category, but will have an auto clutch system coupled with an anti-stall mechanism, which make the bike almost gearless.

i know mods got better things to do and precisely that is why there should be some junior mods, who are more in number and can approve, disapprove and merge..

i bet a lot of people would be willing to sign up for the post... cos we looove the boards.

TVS has done their homework right. Perfectly priced and the specifications are also par for the course.

As far as the sales are concerned, TVS would achieve their projected sales figures without any fuss. The scooter looks cool and am i seeing alloys-spokes a la motorcycle!!

good job from TVS...the scooter will surely sell. But I have second thoughts about jive...
It all begins with a thumb-start -- Oh, wait, I forgot the kill-switch

Wow.That's a long list of features for the Wego.

The Jive is priced at 42500 which has an electric start as standard fitment. It will surely find takers.Provides value for money. But cant comment on it until seen in flesh.

both of them looks good and also rich in features. But they seriously have to look again in their marketing strategy. Look at bajaj, they ve started ads for the pee 135 so much ahead of its launch. The problem is so many dont even know that a scoot like this and clutchless bike like jive is coming up in the market. Some even asked me if Jive is an automatic bike!!.
TVS...Dont forget to patent this Tmatic technology quickly!!...I believe they wont run for it also...Flame would have been a showstealer in the market if only that patent problem didnt arise ..

Ive seen the side profile of Jive in some other site.. For a commuter bike, it honestly looks good.. Not every bike has to look aggressive.. If the refinement levels are up, then surely it will sell huge.

Wego on other hand is stunning, and im proud its coming from an Indian mfgr.. The front looks could be improved though..
