    WEGO gets my thumbs up..!!

The clutch-less JIVE isn't much of a trend setter in terms of style and has ques from the TVS Star range. It will be interesting how the customers are going to take to the "clutch-less" concept.

The WEGO scooter gets my thumbs up . Looks like the Activa challenger is finally here. I am sure it should do well.

      The Scooter looks stunning, indeed!!

I was expecting a staid half-hearted attempt from TVS but this surely is hawt!!

        Thread name edited

Although I'm not a scooter person but Wego looks fresh in the market.Let's see how the market reacts with this launch and whether this scooter is able to dent the sales of Activa and Aviator because this looks better in all aspect.

The Wego sure is a head turner. Looks fresh and hope gives tough compeition for Activa (my deep stong urge that it should dent the sales of Honda and end Honda's monopoly and high headedness)

12 inch wheels definitely help in better ride and handling. They should have given disc brake at front, at least as an option. The specs are on par with the league. I heard it to have two headlight bulbs for better illumination. A mobile charger under the seat is a welcome feature. Thank god, no underseat fuel filling.

But, I am yet to see the complete pic of the Wago. We have to see how it performs on road.

Details of the Wego here... (source: Indiaon2Wheels.com)

"TVS Motor today launched a 110cc scooter called Wego in India.

TVS Wego is powered by a 110cc 4st engine, that delivers a peak power output of 8bhp @ 7500rpm and 8Nm of torque at 5500rpm. TVS has touted Wego as a scooter for the entire family.

During the development phase of Wego, TVS has made use of vehicle simulation models, computational fluid dynamics and frequency response analysis techniques to ensure smooth and noise-free engine and best-in-class ride comfort and handling. TVS claims that the all aluminum low-friction engine ensures best-in-class mileage.

One of the unique features of TVS Wego is its Body Balance Technology that enables lower steering effort, better control and maneuverability through optimum vehicle mass and mass distribution, making it the best scooter to handle in city traffic conditions.

Other innovations that are first in its category are twelve inch alloy wheels, sleek contour body, LED Tail lamp with optical guides, external fuel fill with hinged cap, an integrated glove box, twin city lamps, maintenance free battery, gas filled rear shock absorber, under seat combo charger to charge the vehicle battery as well as a cell phone and patented EZ center stand. Wego’s under seat storage space is large enough to hold a full face helmet.

TVS Wego is priced at Rs. 42,500 (ex-showroom Chennai) and will come in cappuccino brown, golden beige, silver, black and dark blue colors."

TVS surely has winner on its hand in the face of Wego. TVS is always good technically and expect Wego to outperform Aviator. A well done homework by TVS. Now this is purely an Indian scooter for pure Indian.

                      Well done TVS.

The Wego looks really good. Would it kill the scooter makers to offer a disc break up front? This just might be my next scoot if Yamaha doesnt come up with anything soon..

Does anyone have pics of the scooter's tail lamp? In my opinion TVS 2 wheelers usually have weird tail lights. I wonder how this one looks..

Personally I am more intrigued by the bike and would love to see the market reaction to it and also the fact if it gets drawn in the bigger bikes from TVS as some sort of option.

The scooter looks good. Would give a competition to Honda.
