Go for the pulsar 180. It meets your requirements.

the P180 is the bike to go for...it's a compromise between comfortable and a sporty seating posture...HHH/cbz-x have the most pleasing seating postures in the above mentioned bikes...having a test ride may help you more
It all begins with a thumb-start -- Oh, wait, I forgot the kill-switch

congratss, try to get the bike in December itself as you will receive alot of discounts in that month. and than register the bike with RTO in jan 2010, this way you will get a golden horse for a penny price

Congrats on your decision! The new P180 looks really good, with the 220 clip-ons, forks&120 section rear tyre!
Be sure to register it in Jan 2010.
              All the best!

instead, go for Silver the best colour that suits pulsay.
checkout new silver colour. I wanted to go for silver but cannot becuz that stupid sales guy told me there is no such color in pulsar.

There is no problem in doing 700-800kms trip unless your body doesnot gets tired.
anytime, Best method of long touring that i have explored is that "Take breaks in every 70-90kms of riding,it will ease your body+bike too".

                            Hi,
The 2009 version of P180 is just released in may or june 2009(+-1 month)
So, the bike might not be more than 1-2 months old(maximum), and there are no changes done to the bike since it is launched and refinement has nothing to do with a 1-2 month old bike, even if it is kept at showroom. So, no worries about date of manufacture of bike as it will be by maximum just 2 months old.
Just check the number of KM's done on the bike when you take delivery of bike, It should not be more than 2-3KM's maximum.
                            Go ahead and enjoy!!
