Yes, the review by xBhp seniors has actually helped me a lot.Originally posted by chatterbox1 View Postgo for p135 bro. acc to xbhp review its very good and you would have some xtra power compared to 100cc bikes

looks killer in green and the specs are pretty impressive + u get the HONDA reliability.
I don't think Bajaj reliability is very bad. Moreover the styling on the Twister looks overkill to me and that engine looks so malnourished. Moreover Why get a 110 ccc when I have a 135 cc, 4 Valve engine as an option?

I am booking a P135LS shortly and will let you guys know about its experience....it seems that it will take at least 5-8 days for delivery(in bangalore) after booking as it's a new bike and needs to be registered with the RTO.Bikes Owned:
PULSAR 180 DTS -i (Riding Presently)

First, the Yamaha Gladiator has been around for a long time and still it doesn't sell well. I have not seen many on roads.Originally posted by Sharkbite View PostHey, you can also consider the Yamaha Gladiator dude. It meets ALL your requirements perfectly and trust me, the bike doesn't disappoint!
Second, i have taken the test ride of the Gladiator and found nothing great in it. Even in terms of looks, there is nothing special in it.
Third, i don't trust Yamaha bikes to give good mileage.
Fourth, I have already booked a Red Pulsar 135LS!
I took test ride of the P135LS and liked it immensely. The bike looks awesome in flesh: split seats, clip ons, digital display, gas shocks the bike is kitted to the max. Will be getting my bike shortly, will post pics and my report after that. thanks guys, impatiently waiting for my bike.Last edited by Biker_Rohit; 01-03-2010, 07:35 PM.

Within your budget, the following bikes should be available
Bajaj : Platina, Platina125, Boxer, Discover (100,125,150), Pulsar135.
HH : Splendour, Passion
Honda : Twister
TVS : Star, Flame
Yamaha : SS125, YBR125, Crux
All the above bikes are reliable enough and the Platina and Splendour will surely give you a mileage of 65+ kmpl
Check out all of them and buy a bike that you like, not the one your mechanic likes. Some of the Happiest people in the world don't have everything. They just make the best of everything life brings their way !!! Stay happy, Smile always :)

The Shine and Passion Pro both are very reliable. You can count on both.Originally posted by w2phoenix View PostHI guys
.
I want to buy a Reliable bike with good mileage (60+) with a budget of 60k.
my mechanic is suggesting Hero Passion pro or Honda Shine.
pls guide me.
If you think about Passion, give a second thought to Twister, it Peppy, and freaking mileage. Passion looks a bit healthy as compared to the other two.
If you can just extend your budget, go for the Yamaha SZ series. Pretty good (might need to compromise on mileage though
)
Most importantly, if you have the time, list all the bikes in that segment under/near your budget, take a test ride, and decide.
Also check the reviews, riding experiences here on XBHp. Trust me, they are very helpful.
Good Luck for your purchase.

I always tell people that if going for something less than 150cc it has to be the P135LS as it is the best bike below 150CC. Bajaj is known for providing the maximum VFM and this bike is another example of the same. Also, it handles, accelerates and cruises much better than any other bike below the 150CC segment. In fact it performs on par or better than some 150CC bikes. The handling is sharp [not R15 sharp but better than competition].
And Biker_Rohit, you yourself answered your question when you said why not go for a 135CC 4 valved mill.
Cool pwnage on post number 7. I love it when this happens.
Pulsar = Unreliable is a thing of the past now. They are miles ahead of their predecessors and the 135 is a totally different bike. Parts are cheap, service network is great and if you make a few friends at the service centre, the bike gets ghar-jaisi treatment. :-)
EDIT: Congratulations on your 135LS. I wish Bajaj people provided more color options for the 135. Like Grey, Metallic silver white and blue.
Bajaj are you listening?
