Much better mileage ? are you talking a difference about 10 kmpl or what? I bet the diff in mileage is entirely dependent on how a rider rides the bike. You revv it and the mileage goes down.

    Lets not talk like fanboys.

I would just say if you want something thats going to tickle ur ba..s, thrills you than get the RTR[not thru vibes ]. If you want jack of all, master of none,I mean an all rounder which does not excel in one particular department get the P180.

All the claims about the mileage better than the other is BS, it will just be +/-5 on either bikes, all depends on how you ride.

Finally go by your heart not what we say over here.

I have had a P180 2005 ug2 model, i have very rarely used the kickstart method, i have been using the electric start all along. I have never had any reliability related issues. I have ridden Apaches also, 150, 160 rtr efi I find them very cramped, and they give vibrations like hell, it just irritates you and this is from my experience. Go ahead and buy the P180 it is an awesome bike, so what if it is common, all good Value for money things in the world are common

i wrote wat i ve experienced and not as a bajaj fanboy,i ve been riding my frnd's p180 ug3 since 3 months(its wid me coz he's out of the country) and its giving me 51-52 kmpl riding at 60-70kmph........one of my juniors bought an a180 ,he used to get 38kmpl before first service, now after over 4500 kms he is getting 43,even though he very rarely takes his bike over 60 kmph.....n as far as i can see ,that is a big difference between mileage of two bikes of same class............
also AFAIK p180ug4 gives better mileage than ug3,so that increases the difference even more............

though i do agrre that if revved hard no bike will good mileage but under similar riding conditions, the difference in mileage is big enough to be put in mind while deciding among these 2 bikes.......
