'm going to reiterate what other members have already said.

if you are not worried about bland looks then unicorn is the best choice. it has got one of the most refined engine and slick gear box. you would comparatively feel less fatigue after a long drive through traffic. if commuting is your main objective i would suggest Unicorn.

only problem you might face with it would be that all Honda service centres are crowded and may not get the right service. so after free services find a nice mechanic or a good service centre (bike world/ bike zone etc)

though GS150 seem to have similar qualities please go thru the ownership thread of gs150 as some people faced some problem with rust etc.

nothing wrong with the Pulsars but overall quality levels falls short of Honda.
Apaches are known for their high revving engine and may not be as comfortable as a Unicorn for daily commute.
Honda Stunner.. personally i wouldn't consider it at any point :nothing exciting about it and also pricier (no offense meant to owners/fans of stunner): Yamaha Gladiator SS must be a better choice if you are thinking below 150.

PS: my friend has been using Unicorn for the past 2 years and he commutes from Girinagar thru Whitefield everyday. so far he has not faced any problem with the suspension (or his back ).

if you can do with the waiting, unicorn is the best be.even the GS is an awesome VFM buy...have a TD and decide.Unicorns suspension is one among the best in India...so,don't ever worry of back pain and all...
It all begins with a thumb-start -- Oh, wait, I forgot the kill-switch

do post up what you felt after test rides of both the bikes like handling, riding comfort and engine response.
good luck for your buy though.
                  keep updating.

As everyone suggested here, it has to be the Uni or GS for you! Just decide which one among the two suits your style.

                      Hi frnds,

Wat do u think of the new Pulsar 135LS.
Heard tht its performance is as good as Pulsar 150 & they have improvised the engine a bit.....

                      Can i opt for it........?

it will sport all chassis with all new engine(4 valve) , it might be gamble to u as of now
or u should be wise to choose it now
because nobody knows wt will be long term consequences
but one thing is sure that it is 1to3 steps above the competition

a fair draw between Unicorn and GS150R..

But there are a little bit of difference where i guess GS150R scores over Unicorn.

Have a test ride and plan accordingly seeing all the pros and cons of both the bikes.
