well, I have been in your position some days. Finally ended up with Honda Unicorn and i'm happy with the decision i took.

I had a Bajaj Discover for nearly 3 years. Bajaj's reliability is not as bad as people claim it to be.It depends on the way you maintain it The discover i used was a 2004 model and was a very good machine. Did 35k kms before selling it for 22k Rs. The worst thing if you get a bajaj is the service. it's pathetic. I had a CDI issue with my bike and they could not resolve it for nearly 2 years. There are other niggling issues like frequent loosening of chains, bad gears shifts etc. I have heared from my friends that the Pulsar's these days are quite refined. So do get feedbacks from Pulsar owners before buying one.

anyways coming back to the Unicorn. I have done 3,000 Kms on it since i bought it. It's a very good bike..I'm getting a mileage of 53+ on Delhi Traffic. It's a comfortable bike but the suspension is on the harder side. I do have a bit of back pain issue but am not sure weather it's the Unicorn or my back which is to be blamed for it.

I did not face any issue with it till date. It's a complete hassle free bike. If you are looking for a good handler, comfortable bike go for Unicorn. Also Consider the HH Hunk. It has very soft suspension in-case you don't like hard suspension on UNI. I did not get a chance to test drive gs150 so cannot comment on it.

The other day saw a Yamaha fazer. It looked marvelous at first sight. I don't know what kind of mileage it offer's but the looks are stunning. If the Budget is not an issue consider it too.

Thank u very much guys for your quick response..sorry was unable to come here due to my exams.

      Coming to the point

I knew that everyone's gonna vote for Unicorn infact it was first my choice when I started searching about the bikes, but I found some problems associated with it too.

1.High price of parts and spares.
2.I heard that service in kolkata is poor.
3.I have to ride minimum 16km for servicing.
4.Unicorn being a old model lacks the resale value

and again the look is not that smart, although as a bike it's very good.

      About Pulsar

I initially was more inclined towards p220 because between p180 and p220, price difference is very little, and again p180 is a little common than p220 and somehow the design of fuel tank in p150 n p180 looks odd to me..

since you guys are asking me to consider pulsar 180 too, I'll surely do that..But till now I am confused about the mileage of 220 I mean in reviews ppl claim it to be 48-52 in zigwheels they claimed 42-45 and a brother of mine said it's not more than 30.

and my father is little concerned about this bajaj thing.Since He had to weight for about 1n half years for his scooter since then he is dead against bajaj,so I am little concerned about this fact too.clutch pedals, main stand are okay but if Engine dies off my father will kill me for sure..

so all you p220 users can you help me about this..

      Regarding suzuki gs105r

I have ridden this one but somehow I felt uncomfortable..so don't really wanna buy this one..

      Regarding karizma:

I love karizma but the price is about 5k extra than p220 here, and again mileage is an issue.

I love Hunk n cbz too they are good, but they are way too common.I mean if I go n stand nearby bus stand I'll see 3cbz,2hunk n 3pulsar150 for sure within 5mins lol..

so guys please help me out,I am not considering yamaha bcz fz has no wind protection as u guys said n fazer n r15 are out of budget..so only seriously considering p220 if it has got some serious issues I'll stick to cbz, hunk or Mr. Dependable Unicorn..

thanks guys for your help n support
      regards,
      Ad!

well, you don't seem to like the GS,CBZ-X/Hunk,Zma,Pulsars tank and more. Then why not consider RTR 160 fi.It gives good mileage and performance?...Btw,hope this helps. My friends P220 gives a mileage figure of around 35-40kmpl...Unicorn is the best bet though, but 16kms is quite a distance to travel...
It all begins with a thumb-start -- Oh, wait, I forgot the kill-switch

              .
              Congrats on your purchase..
get your suspension(mono shock in your case) to a softer setting, should suit you fine, the trade off will be handling
