will be going for TD and knowing the exchange price for my scarface(disco125) on saturday..
i dont think im gonna get much for a 32k old july'07 e-start disco, that resembles some distant cousing of the bajaj discover after all the stripping it has gone through , here is a pic to bring clarity to the stripping im reffering to..

You can also consider P220s as it will give abit more mileage maybe 2-3kmpl or more mileage than a P220 F and the weight of 220s and 180 doesnot differs by much.

yes its so simple if u need more mileage go for 180,
if u want more style and illumination go for 220f
if u want more power better handling and raw looks go for 220s
taking 220 in account expecting for mileage is only reasonable when you maintain it well( i mean you take proper care of lubrication and engine conditions etc...)
    i own p220 dtsfi
    and currently getting 40-45kmpl
with 80% insane riding.(yup its hard to maintain fi)

p.s.- hey abhi wassup, any news about g2g?

      @thread starter

since you wrote you are sane rider it would be gud decision to go for p220f.
yes projectors are better any day as compared to normal ones.

but also consider the vibration that whole fairing makes its so irritating and comes back again after few hundred kms.

im not considering 220f coz its 9-10k over my budget+fairing vibes plus extra wieght upfrnt(no offence to owners,it sure looks great), whereas 220s is abt 4-5k above budget, plus personally i feel, nuder the better .. no fairings for me

right now im 70-30 in favour of p180 in my brain and 60-40 in favour of p220s in my heart.. if the equation stays this way till feb second week, we stand at 110 for p180 and 90 for p220s.. ooh, 180 beats 220s by a narrow yet decisive margin.

No other point to discuss now. Go and lay your hands on Bajaj's extreme beauty 180.

@Gotlo: Please re-confirm the "55W DC" setup with the showroom guys before you buy the P220 S version, if you do get the P220 S, that is. Some say it is the same old 35W system (from the P200), only with the DC setup, while on the internet it says it is a full 55W DC setup.

Please confirm this once from the showroom, by looking at either the brochure/ specification list of the P220 DTS-i S, or asking the showroom guys.
              :)

ok bro, will surely do.. right now im looking for company to come to probikin/normal showroom with me
p.s-going OT,Pardon me: 220s with 35w would mean bajaj altering the electricals assembly part of its assembly line, which when compared to "just plonkin the bikini instead of the quarter fairing" altercation in assembly line seems more "bajaj"
