I feel that Ninja 250R would be a better bike for you. It fits all the criteria you mentioned and as compared to SBKs, it is quite cheap.

R15 won't suit your dimensions. Didnt suit me (I am 6' foot, 78Kgs)! ZMR would be good choice in all your listed requirements.

And I should also point that TBTS scores in all areas except the 'zipping through traffic' !

yea even i thnk zmr will do good for me.....am gonna try getting a test ride today....have alredy tried like 4-5 times but they refuse sayin its out of stock and the bike standing in the showroom is alredy sold!!!dunno,why this chandigarh delarship is doin such stuff,i don thnk other major cities face such problems!!!

as for TBTS,its all good but people face soo many maintainence issues.....i just went through the thunderbird ownership thread and look at the problems people face from day1....even my friends TBTS is grounded most of the times cause of recurring problems like oil leak,fuel leak,silencer probs....i don want such a high maintaience bike!!!

HOw did u feel when you have driven the R15? Comfortable or cramped?

IF the answer for these question is yes then i guess u have to look for other options, if the answer is a big NO then i guess you have made the call

thx for ur reply....yea my heart totally goes out towards the r15....

today after much much and much pleading the hero honda sales guy agreed to give us a test ride....some1s bike that hadnt yet been collected.....but only inside the service area.....on a 500m straight road.......all i could find out was that the pick up was surprisingly great(i read in the reviews that its less than p220,but i didn feel so) and that the engine was soo smooth.....could only rev upto 4k rpm(as it was sum1 elses bike and i didn wanna spoil it)and only till 2nd gear......

thng i realised was,yea karizma is fi now,really cool looking(i got to ride a black zmr) but you know,i mean,still p220 outperforms it(acc to reviews)......so.....not yet convinced by zmr totally...hope to get a better test ride soon/....

yea then i went to yamaha and got to ride the r15 properly(i previosuly rode my friends new r15,below 4k rpm,below 60kmph)...but this time i totally reved it till 6-7k rpm,rode at 90kmph,thorugh heavy traffic then on empty roads....maaan!!!! HANDLING is awesome!!! i mean,at the curves,the babe just does what u want,u tell her to lie down,she obliges immediately.....acceleration was quite good.....

but yea...my friend said it looks small on you from the back....from the front its all cool....and i read people say that tall people get cramped backs,pain in their backs....i felt really comfortable.....though i rode for like 10 mins....but i thoroughly enjoyed it.....

now jus waitin for the zmr pple to give a good descent test ride.....

nyways...was really excited to hear that r125 was bein launched--date 1st April--damn those motorbeam people!!!

hope the new rtr shows some concrete signs of showin up....

man i think even you like SBKs(who doesnt) and fully faired bikes.....i think r15 is the bike that can get us as close to SBK as an indian bike can in a indian middle class budget.......

try gettin a test ride of zmr in ur region an lemme know how u find it....otherwise r15's the best!!!!

Even I am thinking of going for the R15 as there is no other option. Of course if I get some donations, the Ninja is still a valid option!

oh...zmr is really pissin me off....and i joined this community on orkut on zmr...and people are writin all sorts of stuff that no one is actually buyin zmr,and that even hero honda produces the bikes on order....dunno ifts all true.....

hey good to hear abou ur ninja plans....but man if i were you....i wudn go for ninja....i mean its still 250 cc....i wudve tried to save up more and tried to get a second hand honda cbr 600 rr......but thats just my liking......ninja in india is a baby afterall.....but its reallly cool....do they gve a test run for ninja..would love to get my hands on it!!!lol

Get the R15 it is one hell of a machine.. if you are a tourer than only go for zmr.. or get the ZMA and save some bucks..

No test rides for the ninja. If you know someone who has it then good.

yea the HH people really confuse me a lot,the sales guy was like we sell zmrs like hot cakes,only the problem is that the hh people are really slow in its delivery....well i think its almost final for me.....i actually got a video made of me ridin r15 red colour and showed it to my friends and family....they were like,yea its a lil small,but doesn look to bad either....lol....

dude.. y didnt u count rtr 180 in your list??? i think you must check it out.. i'm sure you'll like its handling and the power is not that bad though as it delivers 17.3 bhp.. test ride it today..
but if your budget is good.. you "must" go for ninja..
