Thanks for the suggestion but not the pulsar buddy! Personally not a very big fan of Bajaj's contruction quality and service backup. In fact when I was booking my bullet and figured that it would take 5 months waiting for the the Classic my mind did think of a P220 and i visited the PBK on 100ft rd Indranagar B'lore and test rode a 220 on the dyno setup they have. I found the bike really really fast in a straight line and that too effortlessly but for me the suspect is the Pulsar's handling and they would not let me test ride one on the road. (I wonder whoever gave them the idea that riding on a dyno in a closed room equals a "Test Ride"). Also decided it cannot give me the feeling or the riding expeirence of a Bullet and decided against it, drooled all over the Ninja 250r they had on display and got out of there straight to the bullet dealer and plonked a 10k advance to book me bullet.

Anyways right now I cant afford a new bike so lets hope this SHOGUN deal works out and I ll have my "Affordable pocket rocket"

@ Mods with due respect I please request you to change the Title of this thread to "3rd one in the stable."Affordable pocket rocket" as the situation seems to be taking aturn towards some thing else.

Yes! A stroke screamer is what I need! And since I ve experienced RXes in the past why not a Shogun . It is badass as you said.

I checked out the SHOGUN and did nt like it. Cosmetically it is a lil beaten and with the availibilty of the parts the way it is I guess I ll be very frustrated with one. So I ve made my decison on the thrid keeping in mind my requirements for a no holds barred performance bike, and It s gonna be the Pulsar 220 DTSi the fastest Indian .. Yes in spite of whatever I ve said about Bajaj in the past the P220 is making sense. It Value for money, It s fast, looks great in fact the F version looks a lot like StreetHawk the TV series bike and that was what inspired me to get on a bike in the first place. So folks i hoe I can get the funds situation sorted in the next couple of months and book me self a Black p220 unles some other bike that is as fast and as no nonsense comes up in the next 2 or 3 months. Thanks all for reading.
