I think Unicorn and GS150R would be good options for you. GS150R is better especially if you want consistent mileage, features packed to the brim and within your budget. I myself have a unicorn but i would suggest you to go for GS150R.RIDE IT LIKE YOU STOLE IT!!!

Hi again. Firstly sorry for digging this old topic. Last time i had put my plans on hold on buying me a new bike mainly because at that time dazzler was very new and uncertainty cloaked it. Now i think with new hunk in the market and a seasoned dazzler, its pretty clear with whats on offer and its competition. All these weeks i have been watching various ownership threads and collecting wiki on my own. Though even after doing all this i am still in a dilemma on which steed to choose. So for the final time i am listing my requirements once again.
1. I commute to my office daily with one side trip being 48 kms, bringing my daily commute to around 100 kms, so obviously fuel efficiency matters a lot to me, along with riding comfort on long rides (that's why Apache has not made it into my list)
2. I am 24, weigh 110 kg , 5.9 feet , but i am quite athletic as per my weight so hopping on or off the bike is not a problem. 95 percent of the time i ride alone without any pillion.
3. For the most part of my ride (around 90% ), i cruze on a highway with very less city riding involved. Reliability is a must , and also concerned a bit about punctures. (as most of the highway is surrounded by fields and sometimes traffic is scant as are the puncture repairwala shops)
I have been considering to buy 150 cc bikes because they seem to offer sweet combination of power with mileage . i somewhat think 125cc bikes would be a little underpowered for a person of my weight. cant go beyond this displacement due to mileage factor.
Have been considering
1. dazzler (concerned a bit about cheap plastics and ppl in ownership thread tend to suggest that mileage drops after one or two services so a tad bit worried about that)
2. the new hunk.
3. suzuki gs 150 (a bit concerned about service availability, as we have only a small suzuki showroom in our city)
4. pulsar 150
5. discover 150 (a bit stale on looks but may do)
Now looking forward for suggestions from you guys.I hope your expert advice can help me make an informed, wise decision.

I believe for your weight and mileage P135LS might fit the billOriginally posted by aytus View Posti guess ive had enough patience. going to buy one this festive season. any festive discounts expected to arrive on these bikes this season??
the 4 valvian will pull weight with decent mileage
all bikes average or specified mileage was tested with some 60 or 65 kg weight so the mileage will go down if weight is more
am talking practically not criticizing your weightSarcasm is my automatic response to stupidity
Currently Using Gusto |Enfield Bullet 500 | Ecosport Titanium+ Diesel

Honda Stunner, TVS Jive are not good enough for average speeds of 65kmph!! Stunner literally becomes vibrator once you cross 60... so you can dump it eyes closed..same goes for Shine as well donno much about Jive on that .. but being a 110 cc.. avg speeds of 65 must be difficult to maintain..Originally posted by HydBiker View PostFor your frame & requirement I would request you to look at the following in no specific order -
Honda Unicorn - 150cc
Honda Stuner - 125cc
Yamaha Gladiator - 125cc
TVS Jive - 110cc auto gear (don't disregard this one lightly. spend some time with it and see - you might just love the Jive. It pulls really well. Saves you money and is more practical.)
Please try them out for your comfort first. All of them have comfortable seats and riding positions (if at all you have to exclude one for these reasons that would be the Stunner)
You can take a look at Discover 150/Yamaha SZ-x/SS125/P135/GS150R
