thanx ravi, i jus wish ppl were as responsive as u r.
by the way, congrats on the zmr(better to say things late than never),provided the profile pic is ur possession... it's the one bike i had absolutely fallen in love with but the waiting period just ended my love story
    The purpose of biking -
100cc- to get from point A to point B
    125cc- to get there fast
150cc- to have some fun while getting there
200+cc- to start from point A and forget when point B passed by

I do not own ZMR. The profie pic is console of VFR1200. Though I liked the FI engine of ZMR and the features, the overall look of ZMR is not to my liking.

sorry for the error, the zmr's console looks really similar.... anyways thanx for the reply and happy riding

EDIT: after the whole mixup with ravi's profile picture i checked online for the consoles of both the honda VFR1200 and the zmr and believe it or not they're strikingly similar....

        As of now--
the zmr according to me is- suzuki gs150r's front and rear lighting design + cbz-x side panels + cheap copy of busa's japanese stickers + vfr1200's instrument cluster + honda cbf stunner-like pgm-fi unit +r15's mirrors+ karizma's old 225cc mill!!!
        WAY TO GO HERO HONDA!!!

By the way how old is your bull? Any issues with the gearbox(i heard it's kinda hard)?
And have u seen it in the new red? i've heard good things bout it but don't kno for sure as i am yet to see one....
              Thanx a mn anyways
I ve done ~13K on Odo. The gear box is not a very big issue. In the starting 2K Kms its virtually non Existent. But it shows its presence slowly after that. Reason: A) Though the service is quite good when compared to other bands the HH guys royally screw up things when it comes to minute adjustments and setting clearances as per factory norms. I faced two problems as a consequence-Hard gears and Tappet Noise. But with a good amount of pressure on them both of the issues have been solved now and the gear shifts are smooth.
              B) The 1st three gear (ratios) on Hunk/Cbz are very distantly placed 1st-3.1, 2nd~1.7, 3rd~1.3, which makes it very difficult to down shift from a high speed suddenly.

If you want a bike with more power/torque go for Karizma it will give at least 35 Kmpl with driving in 70:30 city:highway.

^ that's a relief. i read on the ownership forum that late-onset gear issues are gettin resolved on switching to semi-synthetic and fully synthetic oils, so i guess gearbox issues are outta the picture

as regards the karizma, all i can say is that your signature says it all....

                Thanx and happy riding

hey guys sorry haven't been able to reply for the last few days cos was outta town and that unfortunately has cost me 2Gs considering the hero honda price rise....
one last thing i wanted to know was that is it possible to get gas charged shocks for the karizma?
in the face of the price rise the karizma is only some 13Gs costlier than the hunk, so i am beginnin to think that the zma might me the best bargain...
also can anyone comment on the zma's mileage?(the ownership thread has a lotta dispute bout it)

                        gearbox issue: HH Hunk

                        Bro,
I have ridden my Hunk 10K and I have not faced any gearbox issue till date. The gearbox is really smooth but not as smooth as the Suzuki's. After having good tuning (I prefer rich mixture), I am getting a very good mid range. From 80 to 100kmph, its charm.
                        Move on.........

                          Hello everyone,

I am seriously considering Hero Honda Hunk and the Suzuki GS150R. The lack of Suzuki service centers really worries me. The rusting of fuel tank and the high pillion rider position are the other two things bothering me.

Is the Hero Honda Hunk better when compared to these problems in the Suzuki GS150R ?

                          Thank you,

Which bike? And yes.. you can do 300 in a ride.. just keep taking breaks of 10 minutes every 50 odd km..
