      I couldn't get your meaning...were u trying to say vice-versa?
what i meant was that an old bike will have it's issues no matter what the owner claims. as a consequence you won't be able to enjoy the entire ownership experience of the bike. In short IT"S LIKE BUYING TROUBLE
      The purpose of biking -
100cc- to get from point A to point B
      125cc- to get there fast
150cc- to have some fun while getting there
200+cc- to start from point A and forget when point B passed by

It's not the ride but the rider that matters!

14000 kms not soo bad. so he drove an average of 39kms/day.

for buying a new bike go for p220 (Fastest Indian) or go for FZ (wider tyres very usefull in handling in high speeds)

For City, for tht Budget you can go for P220S...total VFM,if your not interested in PULSARs then go for FZ given tht you dont mind a mileage of 35-40.

if you are comfortable with a mileage figure of 35-45kmpl, decent power and relative ease of use i would say P220S/ RTR 180. If possible ride the bikes which you are going to shortlist. If its a 150cc segment then Dazzler/GS150 are your best bet.
You can take the ride away from me but you cannot take the rider out of my soul.........
