    Pulsar 150 UG 4.5 Booked!

    Dear Friends,

Many thanks to all that responded to my queries regarding the P150 UG 4.5. I found your feedback and comments very useful.

I went to the Bajaj showroom on Saturday (in Adyar, Chennai) and test drove the Pulsar 150 UG 4.5. I liked it and booked it.

Some of you were suggesting I should go for the P180. I saw the P180 in the showroom and liked it a lot but in the end I settled for P150 because:

    1) I will be driving in city traffic for the majority of the time - the power of the P180 would be overkill for me.
    2) P150 will probably give better mileage.

I booked a red P150 and should get my bike on June 11th

Will post some pics of my new bike once i get it.

    Thanks again,

    Cheers,

    Nandu

congrats for the new aquisition.......once you get the bike ...take it to your home riding slowly not crossing 45kmph.....and 1st thing you should do is read the owners manual carefully....and follow the running-in instructions strictly...

After launching pulsar 135 ls bajaj's are bit confused because they have created a strong competetor against themself(pulsar 150cc).So, I think they are in a hurry to make pulsar 150cc survive. For that reason they are doing these absurd changes,I personally don't like these changes.

Now a days pulsar 135 ls, is much better option then pulsar 150cc.

I m not taking into account any 180cc or 220cc bikes.

Bro,, Pulsar 150 UG4.5 is 15.6P.S and the old Pulsar's are 14.09P.S... You must compare P150 UG4 OR 4.5 with CBZ xtreme or Unicorn... Yeah I agree that P135 LS is great interms of Handling and performance.. But not in Pickup and top-end compared to P150UG4.5.....

Pulsar is jack of all trades but unfortunately master of none! and LOOKS REALLY DATED!

              What about pulsar 135 ls

Pulsar 135LS is best if 90% of usage is in city.. it has good pickup & top end performance.. but after 90kmph, you can notice that it's a wee bit sluggish in showing 3 figure mark and with pillion on board matters become bit more complicated. But the engine response in 60-90 range is something that can wow you.

+1 to that. Cruising on highways with P135LS is really not a good idea. Rocky surfaces and wind blast will give you wobbling sensation. Due to light weight, it feels less confident on cruising. For a city, its a sweet Swiss army knife.
