checkout the new passion its coming with digital speedoOriginally posted by thenvk View PostThank you all for the reply's
As of Now I am inclined towards the below.
1. Hero honda Passion Pro ( 55K)
2. Hero Honda Glamor (57K)
3. Honda Twister. ( 60K)
Can some one please tell me the mileage for the above three.. My frnds told me that they are getting close to 60 easily with Passion pro.
I had a close look at the twister yesterday and I feel it Puny. Also the way they designed Pillion and Helmet lock is really bad.Sarcasm is my automatic response to stupidity
Currently Using Gusto |Enfield Bullet 500 | Ecosport Titanium+ Diesel

well I accept the fact that the stunner being a honda is having a good FE, natural performance etc etc .Originally posted by abhichotu.abhi View Post@madhav:
I told him Stunner 'FI' on the basis of showroom price.(not onroad). If anyone wants to buy a Stunner i will always be suggesting an 'FI' that means some good FE, low maintenance, natural performance throughout the engine life.
but just think how much petrol you can get in that extra cost & how many kms you can that petrol last in the carburretor version & the rest draw backs has been mentioned by puneet. The stunner FI is not even offering any goodies like digital speedo or tachometer etc etc. Even the top speed is also not so impressive as it is less than that of p135 & almost equivalent to that of the gladiator.
+100 to thatOriginally posted by Puneet1 View Postbut is the extra price justified for someone who is just looking for a commuter bike . the marginal fuel efficiency increase will not offset the extra price unless the running of bike is very high . Fi cant be serviced everywhere while carb can easily be fiddled with .
@OP - i suggest Twister from honda else P135 if you want more power .NOT BEEN THERE NOT DONE THAT

Thank you all for the inputs.
Yesterday I went for the test drive. I liked Honda shine than Passion Pro and twister.
Booked it, though there is waiting period of 2 months.
I have a noob query here. Does the frequent usage of Clutch consumes lot of fuel? I beleive fuel is linked to the accelerator not ClutchLast edited by thenvk; 06-12-2010, 12:15 PM.

Congrats for Shine....its a Quality city bike with good average...using clutch more then often will result in poor efficiency and worn out Clutch platesOriginally posted by thenvk View PostThank you all for the inputs.

I got my CB shine today. Self,Disk,Alloy. Costing me close to 63K including all the accessories.

The moment I drove it, I felt like WOW... The pick up is superb.(I drove Passion/Splendor earlier).
Got the Teflon done. .....I am loving it to the core..

63K on road?
You could have bought new Stunner for that price, which is better product than shine overall. Shine vibrates more after 60kmph.
P.S.: To reduce the vibrations, I have an idea with me which requires very minor modification. PM me if you want.
BTW, congrats on the new bike. Enjoy the ride.HH Karizma (Current) || CBF Stunner PGM-FI || Honda CB Unicorn Dazzler
